Least liked the ground floor, sand coming in house,no heat downstairs, broken pool table and Q sticks, cold hot tub at 70 degrees, fencing and steps are all obstructive to view and access to beach outside the lower gameroom. Queen mattress next to front door on 2nd floor rolls person to center, needs replacing., Knives were dull, Mold on ceiling and walls of basement. Has atmosphere of a cellar or cave. No appeal for gathering people. Seems isolated.
As beautifully decorated as it is, I would not stay here again because of the basement, first floor. It seperates the party from the top floor where the food, family, view is.
The view of the basement is bad.
Management were nice, tried to be helpful but the house itself has disadvantages.
The elevator was a plus for old people and carrying up luggage and groceries.
Keys were hard to lock and unlock.
Everything was very clean. Kitchen was great.
Management did their best.
I would get something totally on stilks off the ground next time. The first floor is gloomy and depressing. Game room was not fun at all. Poor equipment and depressing. Bunk beds did not help.We put the kids and teenagers downstairs and they did not like it, they wanted to be upstairs on the 3rd floor. It's just not the best arrangement, even for outdoor cooking and grilling because that is on the 1st floor and all food and eating is on the 3rd floor. Who runs from the basement up the stairs with hot steaks to dining room? No tables down stairs or food preparation.
Next time I will think about all these things in being selective of a house. Overall, our group enjoyed the week of being together and the ocean was beautiful. Thanks. More...

We enjoyed are stay at the Sisterly Love house. It was very clean and in great condition. It's hard to tell from pictures but this house is very spacious. It was in a great central location to shopping and restaurants in Nag's Head. The elevator was very handy in bring in luggage and groceries. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the waves. It was too cold to use the pool or hot tub but both were clean and well maintained. We did have a toilet that leaked and called maintained to come and fix it. They were there within 20 minutes and the toilet was fixed right away. I would highly recommend this house.Our family enjoyed it as I'm sure your family will too.

When we arrived, few minor issues. Lights out in elevator, back sliding door when opened came off hinges. Seaside was quick to come and fix. Discovered one bathroom tub was clogged, one bathroom is leaking into bedroom under carpet somehow and the carpet was wet. They came and repaired clog, but brought in a fan to dry carpet...said they had a problem before...room had an odor all week. Septic alarms outside of house went off while staying there. House needs to have pest control..."things" were found alive and dead. Kitchen is not very well equipped...don't plan cooking thanksgiving meal...limited bowls...etc to cook and serve. Burner on stove does not work...one diswasher did not work. Kitchen chairs to table were so dirty were almost afraid to sit in them. House needs an overhaul with cleaning and fixing.

The house is a great location!! We enjoyed the views and easy access to the beach!!!!!!! The pool was great fun for all. The hot tub very nice. The kitchen knives were dull-had a finger slicing experience. Wish the kitchen were better supplied.
We had a funny/scary experience where an oppossum came into the house. It came into the bedroom on the second level and was eating potato chips that had been left in a beach bag. It was quite a wake-up at 4am. We used broom and chased out. (think he came through the screen on the upper level back deck as there was evidence he checked out the kitchen first).

having stayed in this house many times in october we had a cooler than usual week. but beeing the family that we are we still wad a very good time. I think outher people thaught we were crazy when in the swimming pool at 65 degrees and singing we are mighty polar bears as they were walking to the beach in there jackets. this is smoething we will never forget.
