Twin Elks' location is pretty good - you have to bushwhack a trail to ski to it from Skyway, but you can easily walk to the Ski Hill bus stop and catch buses in either direction. And it's a short walk into town.
A2 is comfortable, clean, well-furnished, and fairly quiet (it's very close to Ski Hill road, but you only hear the occasional loud truck). I reported a couple of minor maintenance items: the unit's dishwasher leaks a little (about a cup during a cycle), and the microwave door is broken and has to be pushed up for the microwave to start. Bring your own frying pan, spatula, sharp knife, and cutting board. |

A nice condo in a great location. Octoberfest is highly recommended!
There was some confusion with our initial reservation but the folks at Brek Accom. were fast to make things more than right.
I will be using them in the future and will stay at Twin Elks again |

We spent fun filled days in Breck and had a great time. We have stayed in a vacation rental lodge before and this lodge would rank in the the top two. The
lodge was closer to downtown than we even expected, just a short walk down the road, and on the riverwalk and surrounded by shops and resturaunts. This was the easiest after hours check in we have ever experienced. Everything was as stated online and the pictures matched the lodge perfectly. The lodge actually seemed larger than reflected in the pictures! We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing your mountain bike for the trails. We have already booked for next year! |
