| The aquarius was okay. Overall the property was adequate. It was on the beach and had a nice spot in South Padre. As far as this particular room goes it was poor. The rooms were very old. The shower was like bathing under a hose. Many things were in disrepair. When we arrived it was not cleaned well at all. I would not recommend this room or this property. The pool was in the shade after 12 noon which made swimming in it very cold, even in summer. The "workout" room was a complete joke. It was a closet with two old run down peices of equipment. Pay more money and stay somewhere else. |

| The first night, we were at a different and, frankly, AWFUL, property. It was old, inaccurately represented as beachfront w/ view of ocean, when in fact it had a view of the ugly roof next door which, by the way, was being repaired with stinky tar the entire time we were there! We were miserable! Fortuneately by the next moring, major repairs began on the entire complex (post-hurricane) and we basically were booted out (thank God!). At that time, your agents kindly relocated us to the delightful Aquarius where we happily spent the rest of our SPI stay. We would definitely stay at the Aquarius again and appreciate the ease with which the transition took place. |
