My partner and I brought our families together for a great vacation week. The house was perfect, just as it was described. The bedrooms were comfortable, the furnishings were great and in good shape as well. All of the appliances/dishes were in perfect conditon as well. We wish we were a little closer to the beach, but the pools were close by. All in all, a fantastic house that we would rent again!

This absolutely beautiful and well maintained home provided for an outstanding family vacation. The home is in a quaint neighborhood which is no more than a five minute walk from a quiet family beach with bathrooms and showers.We also enjoyed the walking trail down to shops and places to eat. The condo was very nice and would have been nice had we been able to stay in it for the whole week that we had paid for. We were packed and ready to have a great week. We were driving down and were about 15 minutes away from the townhouse when we got a call no one ever wants to get. We were told that my husband's mother had suddenly passed away from a aneurysm in her stomach. We were all in shock. We did go to the beach for a short while and then went to dinner. We headed out before 10 am the next morning. Our agent said he would try to get us back some of our money, but no luck there. So, going out on a limb and renting an expensive home (in our eyes) certainly didn't pay off for us. I can see how we would have had a wonderful time, but it just didn't happen for us. Everyone who knew of our situation wanted to know where we had been staying and their 2nd question was always did you at least get some of your money back. I always have to tell them not one penney. I must say I was surprised that we didn't get some kind of refund. Even a token refund would have left us with a better view on things and we would have probably tried Old Florida Village again, but not anymore.

We stayed in the house with another family that had 3 kids
and there was plenty of space fora ll to relax and enjoy their
time away from home. The community is a short drive to the
beach - or you can walk should you be up to it. The homes
are cute and festive - perfect for summer vacations.

Santa Rosa Beach offers a wonderful shopping plaza across
from the beach with small shops and cafes, as well as a great
shopping plaza in SanDestin filled with brand names and big
restaurants only miles down the road. The city of Destin is
only slightly further away with more shopping - more touristy
stuff, good for a night of activities.

I would definitely return to the area for a weekend get-a-
way or a weeklong vacation. Santa Rosa was a great area for
kids and our families. Very relaxing and calming locatin

I would highly recommend this property to anyone. This place was spotless and up to date. It did not feel like a rental property at all. I suprised my wife (she thought we were going to a hotel) and as soon as she walked into the front door, she couldn't stop saying "Wow". I don't know if I will ever go to a hotel again. We went with another couple and it was great.

The neighborhood is extremely quiet and great for bike riding or walking. It is very family oriented.

The only negative to me was that there were several bedrooms but other than the master, the next largest bed was in a very small room and the other bedrooms had twin beds. Now, I'm sure that worked out well for other family's, but if you have several adults it wasn't the best.

That being said, for the price and location, I would go back under those same circumstances. That was a minor glitch in an otherwise wonderful stay.
