Vacation Rental Description
There couldn't be a more perfect location for summer festivals! Bedding: King bed, queen bed, 3 twin beds, 1 twin trundle bed, queen sleeper sofaThe red door to this light and welcoming penthouse opens into a flagstone entryway off the dining room. The first bedroom with queen bed and full bath with steam shower is to your right. Stepping into the great room, ahead is the spacious living room with gas fireplace, TV w/VCR, stereo, queen sofa-sleeper, views of the valley, Bear Creek and the Telluride Ski Area. A fully equipped kitchen is to the right. Upstairs is the second bedroom with twin bed and twin trundle bed, small deck with views of the ski area, and private bath with jetted tub and shower. Walking through the living room, another door leads across the larger patio to the third bedroom with king bed and 2 twin beds, private bath with jetted tub and shower. The unit has one designated parking space and two washer/dryers.

| Elk's Park House is an absolute gem! The amenities are wonderful, and the location is unbeatable. The only thing we wished it would have had is a grill - but other than that, a perfect stay! |

Unique and artistic....perfect location! |

| Our group of seven adults from all over the United States came for the Jazz Festival. We were thrilled with Elks Park House, a very unique condo. Lots of windows (even in the ceiling) all with spectacular views of the mountains. Fully equiped kitchen (we cooked meals all three days and even had a party with DJ's from New Orleans, Denver, and San Diego) that had everything you could need. With a dining table that seats 8, several sofas, gas fireplace, and lots of sleeping privacy for couples and singles, we were all extremely comfortable. My husband and I had the separate room on the other side of the balcony that provided a "great escape" from our group. The two best things were the location which was right in town overlooking the little town park where the free Jazz started at 10am. We listened to live music with all the windows open while we had breakfast! It was walking distance to the Festival Park, the riverwalk, the gondola (free rides), and all the shopping, galleries, and nightlife. The free shuttle picks you up out front, but we never used it! Second best thing was the ambience with all the antiques,handcrafted furniture, rugs, and artwork...really felt like you were "borrowing" someone's home! Great! Thanks! |

Large, Phenomenal Home in Center! |

| This was so much better than a hotel!! As a group of 9 recent college graduates, this was the perfect place for the Mountainfilm Festival. The location could not have been more central to the theaters, gondola, clubs etc.. (It is literally above the coolest bar in town.) The house was beautiful, the views amazing and the locals made this trip even that more phenomenal! Literally, the ONLY thing its missing is a hot tub... |

nice but problems |

I enjoyed the property; the layout was nice and the location could not have been more convenient. However there was a major electrical issue; every night when the restaurant below the unit started up the dinner hour, a breaker would trip and we would be without power in one bedroom and one bathroom. Maintenance responded quickly, but the problem was larger than would the maintenance person could deal with. They would reset the breaker only to have it immediately trip again. This situation would persist until the restaurant closed for the evening, late at night. This serious issue needs to be corrected before the unit is rented out again. Also, it would have been nice if the rental company took it upon themselves to do snow/ice removal in the designated parking spots; I scraped up the undercarriage of my rental vehicle due to the mound of ice and frozen snow blocking the entrance to the designated parking area.
