Vacation Rental Description
Large 3200 square foot unit, upper level of a duplex. This unit has a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters, new travertine flooring, and large and open dining/living room with a fireplace that opens up onto an oceanfront balcony with a private spa. There is balcony access also from the master bedroom, which boasts a huge ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms which both have access out to the rooftop deck, with sweeping views of the Pacific Coastline.
This home is located in the coastal town of Oceanside, where the beaches are nothing short of spectacular, with wide sandy beaches and gorgeous waters year-round. After a day at the beach, take a walk to the pier perhaps, wander down and either watch the surfers, go fishing, or take a sail boat out at the harbor. When it is time for dinner, there is an endless amount of delicious restaurants and cafes for you to choose from, but many choose to cook their meals at the vacation rental. Life doesn't get much better than having your close friends and family around, enjoying a glass of wine, preparing a scrumptious meal as you watch the sun go down on the horizon of the Pacific Ocean Fall asleep to the sound of the lulling waves, wake up and do it again.
This vacation rental is a home away from home. Each room has character and everything is professionally decorated. You will find everything you need right in the rental, from beach towels to linens, from spices to coffee grinders and garlic presses. We have stocked the kitchens keeping in mind you might be cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Just imagine all of the memories that will be made on your vacation on the beach! Very much enjoyed the condo on the beach. Being literally on the beach with all windows open to the ocean was marvelous. Loved the constant sound of the waves. The unit was adequately equiped and maintained. The garage was an unexpected perk. It was so relaxing to be in the condo and on the beach that our major excersion in the area was to Barnes and Noble to get more books to read.
The only thing that I would change are the very visable "Beachfront Only Rental" signs. A bit tacky but we couldn't see them from inside. |

| Our week was perfect. The house is just beautiful. Everyone in our family loved it. There was plenty of room for everyone to do there own thing and not bug each other. The lunches on the patio were just as pretty as the dinners. We are going to miss it but we will be back next summer. We can't wait. |

This particular unit was amazing. The location was literally steps to the water, and truely felt safe for our older teenage children to just go out to their "backyard" and play on the beach. We could sit on either deck and watch them the whole time. We walked along the beach to the pier and were glad that we didn't have any of the units that blocked the beach entrance by rocks. Also, our balcony topped every other that we had seen. It was the only unobstructed view of the ocean with no seams, poles, or anything. It was straight clear glass and we must have spent hours on the rooftop deck just staring out into the ocean.
However, we do wish there was an outdoor shower and towel drying hangers, rather than a just garden hose to rinse off with. It seemed as though we spent a lot of time rinsing everyone off, sending everyone to shower, and using multiple towels...one for the beach, one for the shower (times 10 people!), plus towels to dry the floor once everyone was rinsed with the hose and came in. Also, we couldn't hang anything outside, and there obviously wasn't an appropriate spot inside to hang 20 towels and 10 bathing suits without getting sand and puddles of water inside. So, every time we went to the beach, we did at least two loads of laundry to clean up the mess.
But, regardless of the daily beach clean-up, we wouldn't have traded our unit for any other that we saw. It was the perfect spot, and was truly immaculately clean. We loved it and will definitely request that unit again.

| We were very impressed with thee proerty and would not hesitate to stay there again. The only comment I would make is that we had kids with us and in the age of electronic gadgets like Wii & Xbox there was not TV area for the kids to go and hang out. Our kids spent most of their gaming time on the big screen TV since there was no other area or TV to play in. |

It was right on the ocean, the place was big enough for our whole family, it was clean and we were provided with most of the daily essentials in our stay. | THIS HOME IS SO WELL APPOINTED AND COMFORTABLE THAT I COULD HAVE STAYED FOR ANOTHER MONTH. I ALMOST LEARNED WHERE EVERYTHING IS IN THE KITCHEN. THE BEST PART WAS THE WARMER THAN USUAL JAN WEATHER. BODYSURFING IN JANUARY IS THE BEST. ESPECIALLY SINCE EVERYONE FROM HOME WAS IN 10 INCHES OF SNOW. WE SHALL RETURN. |

My family and I love this home. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here, and we will be staying here again. It is truley a vacation when the beach is just out the door. My kids love being here. The house is stocked with tons of towles, which we needed. We would start the morning with coffee at the beach, followed by lunch at the beach. The kids just love the sand and the ocean being from Montana we also love the wheather.
On this trip, we traveled with some friends who also had a son. The house was big enough that both familys had plenty of privacy and lots of fun. The kitchen was stocked with all of the tools we needed to cook for everyone. This house is highly recommended. |

| This house is absolutely amazing. We needed a getaway for the one year anniversary of my mother in-laws passing, and we definitly found it here. Everything was perfect. The sun set directly in front of us everyday. The beach is private so we were practically alone everyday. I loved cooking breakfast every morning with the ocean as my view. We only ate out once during our week long stay. We didn't need to leave the house. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We will defnitly be back. |

We had a four bedroom and much of our family were able to join us. It was a wonderful, relaxing, time with family. The surf and beach were so great. We had a great time.
The apt was beautiful and well stocked. You could hear the sound of the surf from the balcony! |

| We did have an incident with the downstairs rental. The day before we were to leave they came to install tile on the stairs and kitchen. It was so loud. When we called the rental agency, they were not very helpful. It was almost like we lost a whole day of our stay. |

| this location is wonderful..the hot tub was used by old folks who could watch the rest of the family on the beach playing..BUT, the gate on the sidewalk could not be locked and was used by the public to access the beach..very insecure feeling..the carpets were dirty and smelly, upstairs batrhroom shower curtain mildewed, and the downstairs unit renters had a dog that barked all evening when the owners were away..we sent a letter as soon as we got home, surpriserd you did not get it. |

| We could have wished for more comfortable beds in the upstairs rooms and TV's would have been nice in the upstairs bedrooms. Otherwise, we felt the place was perfect. Oh, we tried the jacuzzi tub in the master bath but couldn't get it to work - might have someone take a look at it. Thanks! |

| It was a beautiful property, but the housekeeping needs some serious attention. The bathrooms were dirty - looked like they hadn't been cleaned before our stay. The bed linens and towels were also questionable at best. I spent the first few hours of my expensive vacation cleaning the place and washing all the linens! |

| We were already committed to staying when we realized the rental didn't have air-conditioning. It was a very, very hot labor day stay and we were EXTREMELY MISERABLE. We bought a portable air-conditioner for the master bedroom so we could sleep. Our guests left after 1 night because they were too hot. An unfortunate experience that will probably keep us from renting again. |
