My wife and I spent a weekend in the beginning of October at the resort. She was there for a conference and I was there to relax. The conference facilities were right there in the building in which we were staying, which made for great access. The facilities were very adequate, the food was good, and the attending staff were friendly and responsive. To relax, I was able to walk the extensive grounds of the facility, use the in-house gym, and get wet in the pool and hot tub.
There was a small problem with the Murphy bed. But I called the front desk, they immediately got in touch with the Maintenance Staff (on a Saturday), who was up to the room within five minutes to address the problem.
The desk staff (same woman throughout the weekend) was very friendly and incredibly helpful. No matter how many times I called the desk, no matter what the question or request was, she was always friendly, cordial, and willing to go that extra bit to be of service.
We llok forward to our next stay at the Iron Horse Resort. |

| We were a little concerned that the rental would be too small. It turned out to be cozy and wonderful. It was quiet and had a great view. The DVD movies in the room were appreciated in the late evening along with the ambience fireplace. The front desk was very helpful with picking our local resturants and how to get to the Golf Course. The fall colors were at their peak along the forest roads. |

This was the second time in a month we stayed at Iron Horse. Great place for peace and quiet. I'm sure durring ski season it might not be, but for a the summer is a great get away. The pool and hot tubs are great! The condos are super! Already looking to come back again. Thanks for a great time.

| Iron Horse was perfect. Close to everything but far enough away so you really feel like you are in the mountains. Great views from teh rooms. The place was fantastic, beautiful, clean, and location was STELLAR!! My only two complaints is the refrigerator smelled really bad when we opened it, and the shower kinda smelled like wet dog...but it's nothing we couldn't deal with :). ALthough if I was using the fridge for anything other than beer we might have been grossed out b/c it did smell really bad. The room was cozy and perfect though!! |
