When I asked for one of the cheaper rooms, I was expecting something a lot less
nice. The room was very nice and the view was amazing. The service was awsome
as usual. I love winterpark and will be making my arangements through the iron
horse from now on. |

A great place to stay. Had everything we needed, and love the murphy bed in a studio ... living room by day, sleep by night. Nice location. Good pricing. Wish the check-out was a bit later (but the staff was able to work with us on that, which was great)
Overall, a great two night stay! |

Nice cozy room, but the bedding is marginal - made for poor rest from a hard day....
Also please buy some decent pots & pans for our room.....shouldn't have to try to eat from a $4 walmart pot with teflon flaking off into the food.
Room needs a couple of pull-out laundry lines to help in drying out clothing , gloves, socks, etc Rec: bring your own clothes line and pins
Front desk folks Kyle & Melissa were plesant & helpful with our requests for assistance.
Would like to see a recommended / rating list of "good" places to eat (not a listing of all the tourist trap spots)
Overall: reasonable value, a nice place and satifactory stay. |

| The facility at Iron Horse Resort seemed very nice.. It had two gigantic hot tubs, but there were no pool towels. The restaurant's menu was very delightful, with a very nice setting. The resort staff and servers were all very friendly. My only regret was the individual room I stayed in, it looks nice from the picture, but is warn down. They was very childish dolls placed on the fire place, and the t.v. was very small and out of date, plus I could find no comforter in the room I rented (513). The Iron Horse Resort I would recommend, just not this studio. |
