PLEASANT
My wife Jenni and I love to find get-a-ways just like The Iron Horse Resort. Fireplace, balcony in a cozy room and a hot tub for extra relaxation. We will definitley go back especially for the discount for a repeated customer and the ambiance.

Love the Iron Horse!
The room was perfect for a couple for one night. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It had pots and pans and all the stuff you would need to cook. The bed was comfy and the fireplace was nice. The fireplace controls the heat and so it will turn off when the room gets to the temperature you like. That part I didn't like because I like the fireplace on throughout the evening.

We ended up NOT EVEN staying!
We ended up not even staying the night because the room was so unimpressive. The resort was much older than we expected and the room 95* in the summer and smelled horrible. The murphy bed was old and filthy...the bathroom a little scary. We drove back to Denver and paid for another hotel just so we didn't have to suffer through a miserable last night on our vacation!
