Monmouth Theatre is close by for evening entertainment. Augusta (the State Capitol) is only 16 miles away with museums and shopping. In the winter consider Duck Inn as a getaway for skiing at a nearby ski area. Besides the skiing there will be skating on the pond and ice fishing.
