Our stay at Pelican Isle was good. The place was furnished and decorated nicely. The location was great. Close to alot of places to eat and things to see. Having a washer and dryer was great too. We did have a few problems. One the door has to be slammed shut and pushed on to lock. We had no power cord to the wireless router. We had to call the office twice to get a new one. A worker came knocking on the door at 9AM!!!! to fix something. We had no idea what he was talking about. No one from the office let us known he was coming. The same worker called the day we were leaving to see if we were leaving early. While we were trying to have one last nice breakfast on the deck. The thing we liked best was the closenest to the beach and the beach chairs. The thing we disliked the most was the worker showing up at 9AM!! and calling early the day were were leaving. I think he should know what time check out is if he needs to get to something come on.

MY HUSBAND JUST GOT BACK FROM IRAQ, SO WE WANTED TO GO SOMEWHERE TO RELAX AND HAVE FAMILY TIME TOGETHER. THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING, NO-ONE BOTHERED US, WE WENT AS WE PLEASED AND FELT VERY ASSURED THAT OUR KIDS WERE FINE LOOKING FOR CRABS ON THE BEACH AT NIGHT BY THERE SELFS. THE UNIT WE STAYED IN WAS VERY NICE, HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND MORE. WE CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR AND STAY LONGER. More...

Southern Resorts is a great place from which to rent. We called the day before we arrived and had no trouble with a last minute reservation. We loved the condo. Large shower in hall bathroom. Teenager said the sofa bed was comfortable. For some reason, he did not want to sleep in the bunks, maybe b/c he is over 6Ft tall! Decor was very nice, nice complex also. Just hate the humidity in August, need the water to cool off.

The service was great and the condo was just perfect and very clean. We really liked the plan and the location of the condo. The beach was not crowded, and the drive to Destin was easy and painless. The weather was perfect as well. No complaints. All was good. Thanks. More...

This place was very easy to find. The room was in great condition and was super clean. Easy access to the water down the elevator and out the back. Private pool is available but with the gulf right there, why bother with the pool. If you stay here, you wont be disapointed. I will be back....
