We stayed in unit 209A for the week of July 25th. The condo was very nice but the bedrooms were small. We could barely walk between the footboard of the bed and the dresser. We could not use the dresser drawers because there was not enough room to stand in front of it and open the drawers at the same time! Early in the week we noticed a few brown bugs in the kitchen. By the end of the week it was very common. We were very careful with our food. The resort's location was nice - easy to get to. The water amenities were great. The kids loved the lazy river, slide and waterfall pool. Overall, our stay was nice but we were disappointed with the size of the condo and the BUGS! More...

The home we stayed in was wonderful in all ways except one major way and one minor way. There was an infestation of roaches in the kitchen. One was also seen crawling on the ceiling of the bunkbed area. When I opened the dishwasher the first morning to put away the clean dishes, at least a dozen small roaches scampered. I was appalled horrified! I called the office thinking that an exterminator would be sent up. Instead, a man came and told us he could go to Wal-mart and get a can of Raid for us. Since I had two babies in the home, I did not want that and asked if we could have Combat. The maintenance person put the Combat down while we were at the beach. We definitely saw a reduction of roaches by the 3rd day, however, they were not eradicated. We killed several each day we were there which were crawling in the dishwasher or on the counter, cupboards or floor. It was quite disconcerting that I might bring home some travelers.

The minor issue was the house was not equipped with a broom and dustpan. I would have liked to sweep up the tiled areas on a daily basis.

I loved the Waterscape complex and would like to stay there again. I was with six brothers and sisters and my condo was the only one out of the seven of us with bugs. Two of my sisters had very uncomfortable master beds which made their vacation less than wonderful. I would like to stay there again and I would even stay in 209A IF someone could guarantee me that the roach problem was gone. More...

We loved our stay at Waterscape....we travel with a few families and the childrens age range is from 9 years old to 19 years old. All of the children enjoyed our stay--so much to do, people to meet (it was crowded!) and a beautiful, convenient facility......we look forward to going next year! More...

Plenty for the kids to do-good staff-nice comfy condo's

We were very happy our entire stay of four weeks. Everything in the unit was first class, including the furnishings and the view.
Shopping and restaurants are all close by.
The entire property is the best in the area.
We will be back!
