Clean, spacious, good location, good breakfast off menu at Evergreen restaurant, nice indoor hot tub

The location was good, the space and the layout were very convenient with ample closet/storage space. The bathroom layout, with dressing areas was helpful for sharing the bathrooms. The Master bathtub/shower is plumbed backwards and my grandchild about scalded herself.
The other bath/shower goes from extremely hot to cold on the same setting.
Overall the place needs an update and much more maintenance. Unfortunately there was no TV in the 2nd bedroom. The headboards in both bedrooms need to be adjusted, so that when one person moves it
doesen't wake up the other. We stuffed a towel between the bed and the wall. Iwould give this place 3 stars, I feel generous, because of the location and the amenities in the lodge (bar, restaurant, pool and hot tub). At best it would rate a "silver" and should be priced that way as well. More...

Great location within Vail, no more than half a block to the original main entry into the town. Just a wonderful place for the kids to hang out and feel safe. Our place was very big, much bigger than most of the other rentals for the same price range. The only drawback was that our unit has not had a cosmetic upgrade in many many years. The paint and carpet were in need of replacing. Overall though i would take the bigger space over having a newer look. The staff was mostly helpful, it is not a corporate run place, it is much more of a mom and pop atmosphere. We recommend it and had a great stay. More...
