We had a great time! The beaches in Destin are amazing!
However, the fold out sofa sleeper was in horrible shape and so two of the guests had to sleep on the floor the whole week.
Also, we ran into some travel set backs on our trip there so we did not arrive until 1 a.m. - and the security guy told us that all check-ins after 8 pm are sent to the palms. So we drove to the palms and they had nothing for us because they said since we rented through compass that they dont deal with those. So I had to find internet somewhere to find the emergency number off the compass-resort website to call an answering machine to say that we couldnt get into our room.
I think that compass should send out a "How to check-in email" a week before the scheduled date. SO that people know where to go and what to do. On the other hand, everyone was trying to be as helpful as they could - and all the workers were very friendly.

What a beautiful & safe spot on the Destin beach! I lost my mother one year ago and have recently lost two of my brothers at young ages - so I am sure you can understand a get-away to Silver Shells with my family was exactly what I needed. It was wonderful five (5) days and, oh well, I'm back to the real world! Hopefully we'll be able to visit you again. I want to also thank Compass Resorts for another wonderful get-away. You are always so helpful & polite to work with - I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU.

| The location of the vacation home was perfect for getting to all of the attractions Destin offers. The view from the balcony was awesome. The home was nicely furnished and the kitchen was well equiped. The bedrooms were very nice, very comfortable. It was a home away from home. The beaches were beautiful. There were many small white fish right where the water met the shore. You couldn't catch them, but if you put your hand in the water and remained still, they would swim right into your hand and rub against your fingers. Even then, if you tried to grab them, they were too quick. The pools and grounds were very well kept. The layout of the resort was very well set up. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Silver Shells St. Croix. |

Absolutely no complaints concerning St. Croix 1203 or Silver Shells Resort. We had a great time and hope to stay again in the future. |

We are a group of friends that stayed at this condo for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. This condo has a beautiful view. You can lay on the master bed and see the ocean. It makes you feel like you're on a boat. The condo was very clean and felt very welcoming. This condo is conveniently located in the heart of the Silver Shells Resort. The gym, pool, tiki bar and beach were just a few steps away. Just to mention, the gym was fabulous. Parking was underneath the building is an assigned parking space and the elevators were super fast. Overall, this condo rocked and we would definitely rent this unit again. If I had one complaint, it would be the condo phone line. The number needs to be added to the National Directory of the Do Not Call list. During the times that we were in the condo, the phone rang several times with solicitors. But, we had fun playing jokes on them?
This condo received a two thumbs up from 5 women!

We are originally from MS & LA, but currently live in MI. We were able to meet our parents & spend a week at this condo. It was a little cool, but compared to MI it was delightful. It snowed here while we were down there.
It was clean & comfortable. There were plenty of dishes. Could have used a few more wash rags for showering. Honestly, we hope to be able to make a habit out of spending a week there each year.
The decorations were very warm & comforting & it truly felt like a vacation. It was located close to many great restaurants & the view was absolutely amazing!!!

| This is a great place to stay . Super location , close to the water & outlets. Friends of ours took their small kids to the indoor pool if the weather was bad. Tons to do for everyone. This unit could be checked a little more to keep it in tip top shape. Door screens were ripped, closets off their tracks. Minor things but it would be better if they were fixed. All in all great time. |

| This is a wonderful property and I highly recommend it. Our family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. The kids loved the swimming pool and the little ones enjoyed the kiddie pool. It was a wonderful vacation that our family will treasure. We hope to visit again soon. Definitely try out the Ruth Chris steakhouse. Wonderful food. Also, the beach access was perfect and everyone was so friendly. |
