"Sugar Pine" is centrally located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe approximately 2 miles from the casinos at the state line. The nearest ski resort would be Heavenly being just a 5-10 minute drive away. This brand new luxury home is approximately 2,400 square feet, boasting travertine floors throughout, radiant heat throughout the house and driveway, the master bath has a large shower with dual shower heads and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The living room has a 50" plasma screen TV with surround sound, the family room has a 32" TV also with surround sound. All of the bedrooms have TV's, and there is a DSL internet connection available in the home. There is a deck off the living room with a natural gas BBQ, and a hot tub in the back yard. This house can accommodate up to 8 people.

This home is wonderful. It's nicely kept with all of the amenities you could possibly want. Everything is in perfect, working condition and easy to use. All of the electronics, the heating/cooling system, washer/dryer and the spa are the most modern technology available. There is an instructions manual for everything that has an on/off switch.
I highly recommend this property as well as Buckingham Rentals. |

When looking for somewhere to stay in Tahoe, we needed a few
special requirements met. We needed a place large enough for 6
people, somewhere close to ski resorts, somewhere close to
nightlife and a place that felt like home. This home met all our
needs and more. As soon as we pulled up we were pleased, this
home was the only home on the street with no snow in the driveway
due to a system the owner has installed! We already knew we
wouldn't have to worry about slipping on any ice. When we first
walked into the house it was warm and cozy and ready for us. It
smelled lovely, and the house was so clean! It was spacious enough
for all 6 of us but private for each at the same time. The kitchen
was wonderful and allowed us to prepare several meals and bake
for a dinner party. We especially loved the downstairs garage
entrance as it served as a perfect place to store our ski's etc. We
used the game room downstairs, and watched several dvd's
upstairs in the living room. We also loved the hot tub out side, and
have never experienced anything like a hot tub in the snow.
Furthermore, the accessibility to Tahoe night life was fantastic! We
were able to go out and have fun at dinner and casino's and only be
a short distance from the house. This was by far our best stay in
Tahoe and one that we hope to keep replicating in the future. Don't
waste your time looking at other homes to stay in - this is the one,
and doesn't get any better than this dream come true! Thank you so
much for having us and we look forward to returning in the near
future! |

Fantastic for weekend ski getaway! |

I rented this house for a group of 6 for a 3-day weekend. The house was immaculate, cozy, and luxurious. It had a fully-loaded kitchen, and was setup with a ton of amenities for group activities, with games and the all-important hot tub in the back. They had wi-fi, but unfortunately we weren't given the password, so be sure to get that before you arrive. One word of warning - we had a 6'4" friend come with us, who didn't quite fit in the bunk beds in one of the rooms. Other than that, we had a great time. It was so close to Heavenly and the casinos. I would highly recommend this place. They charge you for a security deposit, but I received that back within 2 weeks. It's a great home away from home, for those looking for something a little more luxurious than your regular ski cabin.

We just spent a wonderful week at the Chatham Beach House and had a wonderful time. Every year we are renting a house in Tahoe. This house it was perfect, clean, warm, nice furniture, enough dishes. Lovely place.
Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. The house is actually nicer than the pictures!
Except the TV in the living room hangs so high. We were not able to watch it for long time. Our heads and necks hurts. We moved all couches as far as we could from the TV. Everything else was perfect.
We'd definitely recommend this house to everyone who wants to enjoy the stay in nice place.
