Casa Miguel is a great vacation rental home in a great location. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and still only a few steps away from the center of town and the beach (about 450 and 650 meters respectively, 5 and 7 minute walk).
Its Nicaraguan tiles and tropical gardens lend it a colonial air.
The house is spacious and completely air conditioned. The living room is comfortable and has TV/DVD. Upstairs there's another living room with TV. The pool area has lounge chairs and a picnic table to enjoy the garden, as well as a charcoal grill.
It has wireless internet, a safe large enough for a laptop, security alarm and security bars on windows and doors.

awesome huge house
As a frequent visitor to Jaco, Casa Miguel was recommended to me, I found the house to be extremely clean, very large, a wonderful place to stay I highly recommend it

Casa Miguel Apr. 1-5
Big, affordable house in Jaco. You just don't find this too often. Plenty of room for all of us. Nice pool area. Clean, safe and secure. Would definitely recommend this middle of the road rental house for groups. P.S. Make sure you tell the cab driver to take you to Cabinas Mar Azul. They won't know where Casa Miguel is

A great stay in Jaco
If you're going to rent with any company in the Jaco area, BeachHome CR is definitely the one to go with. Our group of 9 stayed at Casa Miguel for a week and found it exactly as described. We rented the whole house and could easily have fit another 3-5 people without feeling squished. The only bugs in the house were the ones we attracted if we left food out. No security problems or anything. We literally never felt unsafe in the house or Jaco or anywhere else in CR. It's about a 5 min walk from Jaco's main street and another 2-3 minutes walk from the beach.
The company also got us great rates on excursions by dropping their commission. Really---we asked around and they were always $10-20 cheaper per person. We probably saved $400 between us just with that.
Jaco is not a quiet, honeymoon destination but if you're looking for a fun relatively cheap place, we liked it a lot. Would definitely book with this company on a return trip.
