We have stayed at the Macmillan house 4 times. the location is awesome with great views. The beds are wonderful!! The furnishing could use some updating. The office staff is always friendly courteous and does a great job. Thanks.

We enjoyed the piano very much and all of the sitting areas where multiple conversations could take place. The many books and videos would have been used more if we had stayed longer than the 3 days we had. The stars at night were very bright and beautiful without the city lights dimming our view. Many more screens that fit are needed, especially on the side of the prevailing wind. Two large picture windows need to hav e windows on each side that open for good circulation. We loved the fantastic view of the mountains that changed as the weather changed. The house had lots of room for adult and children activities. It was very comfortable and inviting. Deer and moose wandered freely around the area which is not anything that we see in Kansas. We would stay there again if we have the opportunity.

The MacMillan House in Windcliff is a beautiful home with fantastic views of Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet, relaxing, comfortable place to get away and enjoy nature at its most majestic.

We have stayed here twice for special occasions -- once in the fall to spend time hiking in the National Park and recently in December to enjoy the spectacular mountain views by the comfort and warmth of the fireplace.

We have found the MacMillan House to be a quiet, comfortable place where you can recharge your personal batteries and enjoy bringing a few friends to share the tranquility. This is not a rustic cabin in the mountains, rather this is a beautiful mountain home where you can feel that you are "roughing" it in the mountains in a luxurious way.

Our piece of advice -- bring your own food and coffee, and be prepared to prepare some meals in the fully equipped kitchen. When you finish your day of hiking and drive up the twisting mountain road to reach the house -- you won't feel like leaving to go out for dinner. More...

We loved this house and hope to come back. The balcony view is stunning. THe house is beautifully appointed and well equipped. It felt like home. We enjoyed being away from the crowds of Estes Park. If you want to be in the bustle of town,this is not a good place for you because its 15 minutes or so into town, the grocery etc.
We enjoyed the spaciousness of the home. It's big enough for many people to stay and nto feel cramped in the least.
