Great week away in the mountains! |

| We were very happy with our experience at Pollak. The two living rooms with views were our favorite, especially since it unexpectedly snowed most of the week. The wood-burning fireplace was a treat! The kitchen was well stocked and modern. The road up the mountain is bit daunting the first time you travel it, but you quickly get used to the narrow, steep climb. |

the bargain view of the South Range |

I stayed at the Pollak home for five days. It was a delicious experience. The decor is a bit dated, but everything was clean and convenient. The kitchen was well stocked, with all manner of cooking implements, spices, etc. The bed in the master was hugely comfortable. The porches were capacious. The stay was trouble free, save for a problem with the internet wireless that was quickly fixed with a phone call to the Windcliff staff.
I doubt this is the ultimate Windcliff rental property. It has but two bedrooms. It is an older structure. You'll have an upstairs neighbor. But I'm pretty certain that the glorious range of mountains to the west is exactly the same one you see from the newer properties, except that the view comes at a decidedly lower price.
The place appealed to me right away, and grew on me each day. I would not hesitate to return. |

Amazing Mountain Views |

| My husband and I recently completed a one week vacation in the Pollak duplex home. Like the other two stays at a Windcliff rental property, this stay was no different. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The peace and solitude of the home and surroundings along with the mountain views were amazing. The home was most comfortable and was equipped with all the amenities we desired. The staff at Windcliff couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely consider another stay in the future. |

Confortable Pollak |

My wife and I found Pollak to be a very comfortable vacation home. In fact we had stayed there once before for 2 weeks. The view is spectacular and the house is very artfully decorated. The house had everything one needed for a pleasant stay. We were visited on several occasions by a family of deer which added to our enjoyment.
Unfortunately, during our 2nd stay there was one negative aspect. Directly across from the Pollak's house, a big new house was in the process of being built resulting in two weeks of construction noises. Some of our privacy and quiet enjoyment was taken away. Also the panoramic view was diminished by the new structure. |

Manager Response: January 15, 2009 |
| Thanks for your review. The home below Pollak has now reached a level of construction where the work has moved inside. We feel that the views from the Pollak home are completely unaffected by the new home which is downhill from the Pollak home: even the rooftops of the new home are "below" the mountain view from the Pollaks. Of course views and setting are a very subjective matter and we have many different choices available for our guests. |
