Awesome weekend getaway! |

Staying at the Ruttenburg was great! We normally stay on Fall Road, but since they were unavailable, we chose the Ruttenburg and have no regrets.
The views are truly amazing. The Ruttenburg decor was very comfortable and enjoyed looking at the maps they had hanging. We brought a cooler full of food and forgot the small detail items - salt, pepper, sugar, cinnamon, tupperware...they supplied it all. It was great, we were planning to go back to town and buy these small items, but since they supplied them, we just "hung-out." It was very warm the weekend we were there, but if we were to get snowed in, they even had games and books.

| Nice place with awesome views. Initally concerned about location being to far from Estes Park. It ended up being about a 10 minute drive and worked out great. |

| Views were fantastic and the staff was helpful and pleasant. I thought the price of $2300 for a week was pricey considering the age of the appliances and condition of the condo. Parking or getting into the garage presented a problem when the other units were occupied. Lack of privacy with decks and windows of other units looking into ours in the family room and bedrooms. Very compfy beds and very nice linens on the beds that always smelled fresh and remained crisp. I'd stay at Windcliff again but would opt for a different home next time. |

What a wonderful and relaxing stay we enjoyed here! The home was absolutely spotless and we felt very safe there. The rooms were beautifully done and we enjoyed the fire each night! Loved that morning cup of coffee while enjoying the mountain view. The kids (20,14,13) were a little intimidated by the road up to Ruttenburg and even less assured about my driving that road!
(I am the Grandmother, 66) but we finally conquered it so it turned out well. The staff (Andrew, esp.) was very helpful and courteous so....thank you for making our little winter "reunion" so memorable.

Breath Taking Views |

The views from every window were beautiful. The spacious kitchen
allowed us to cook gourmet meals as we viewed the Rocky Mountains.
We enjoyed the warmth of the immense fireplace in the evenings
while watching movies on the large HD flat screen TV. The furniture
was ample so that the six adults in our family could comfortably
sit around the fireplace. The bedrooms were quite adequate with TVs
in two of the three. We did have to share a bathroom on the second
floor which had two bedrooms. We definitely would request this
condo again and recommend it to family and friends.

The balcony was our meeting place for "chips and dips" to look at the fabulous view of Rocky Mtn National Park skyline as the sun set. The accomodations are great, the kitchen was well supplied, very clean, and appliances very manageable, like you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to heat a cup of water in the microwave.
Only "difficulty" was figuring out how to change the TV stations, once you hit a wrong button on the remote control, it's all "snow". But, we asked at the office, they came up and fixed it, and on with the viewing!Would definitely return to this "get-away"!! |

| We wanted to go to Colorado for a winter vacation so we jumped online and found this place. The unit was absolutly perfect! I loved the view from the deck and the fire place was nice for relaxing in the evening. All of the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equip for cooking. I would rent this place again! |

| We truly enjoyed our stay at the Ruttenberg. From the moment we walked through the door, we were amazed by the views from almost every room and the comfortable accommodations. We felt at home here. Because the unit has several levels, those having difficulty with stairs or with very small children may want to reconsider this rental. We have stayed at several condos in Estes in past years, all great, but Windcliff and the Ruttenberg provided a true mountain getaway, exactly what we were looking for. We were also very pleased by the hospitable and friendly Windcliff staff. Thank you for the best vacation we've ever had -- we hope to return in 2009. |
