Guest Reviews for Goldilocks' Hideaway

Nice and Clean Cabin
We decided last minute to go and do something different for Christmas this year. Went on line after looking continously at cabin places. We looked you over and the names of the cabins was interesting. So we decided to choose your resort because of the ponds and where you were located. Cabin was very clean and beds were comfy. Enjoyed the pool table. It was close to everything that we had on our agenda and it was nice to come home to a cabin instead of a hotel room. We recommended this to all our friends. We will stay here again if we decide to visit in the future. We love the outdoors. It was a wonderful trip. Thanks for having such a great resort. More...

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was nice and clean and we felt right at home. All the staff was very freindly and helpful. I suggest everyone to vacation there!!!

Privacy Getaway
This cabin was very neat and clean. It was roomy and perfect for couple or family of four to five. It is up on a hill, but has a lot of privacy and surrounded by trees. The people were very friendly and very eager to help when asked a question. I would return to this cabin again if needed again. The location is close enough to the main road and very accesible to most shopping and good places. More...

Cabin was comfortable and private, loved the pool table
The Cabin was beautiful and comfortable, it was private, and I loved that aspect of it. What I hated about this experience was that the resort had listed on the website that there were four ponds, FULLY stocked. My dad goes to fully stocked ponds all the time and catches all kinds of fish, at this resort, we stayed four days, and caught nothing. My Dad shops at Bass Pro and buys all the best fishing equipment and has been fishing all his life...I know it's not his fishing skills. All the other fishermen that were there that weekend were also complaining about the SMALL ponds not being stocked too. Yeah, you can see some bluegill come up to the surface of the ponds, which look very thin and unhealthy I might add. The golf course was not even a real golf course, it was the crappiest thing I have ever seen. The putt putt wasn't the best thing ever, but was enjoyable. If you are wanting a vacation with fishing and golfing, don't go to little mountain valley resort...you won't get any enjoyment out of it. If you want to go there to stay in a nice, comfortable, private cabin....then hopefully you will be satisfied with that... More...
