I always enjoy my stay on southard, setting on the porch and watching the race goers and joining them. i have stayed at 203-1 and 203-3 for the last four years I used to stay on sunset key, but enjoy the conveinance of this location beter.

Compass Realty gave excellent service/communication from time of booking to departure.
We have stayed in Key West numerous times and this was the best place yet. The townhouse was nice and clean, furnished very nicely, and was a great location for our purposes; 3 blocks from Duval. Captains Wheel came fully furnished, beds were comfortable. Although we were unable to use our keys to get to the pool area, there is a beach (State Park) in walking distance that quite nice.

The Captain's Wheel was a great little condo. Worked perfectly for two couples. It was very clean although was lacking in some items that we felt should have been provided such as enough Toilet paper, garbage bags and napkins or paper towels in the kitchen and the BBQ had no propane. We loved the Annex setting and the convenient proximity to Duvall Street. There was also a great State Park with a nice beach very close by. We could walk or ride bicycles everywhere we wanted to go. A couple of complaints... there was a pool pictured with the condo online which we were never able to locate and use (not explained well by Compass Realty) and they were doing MAJOR construction (jack hammering a road) right outside out condo which created significant noise throughout the week and started rather early in the morning. That put a huge damper on getting some restful mornings. We were disappointed that we had not been warned about that prior to arriving. Otherwise an overall good experience! More...

Had a great stay. It was better than the virtual online tour. The condo was equipped with everything I needed, clean and well kept.

Loved the Captains Wheel Townhome in Truman Annex, Key West. All the amenities and comfort of home. Truman Annex is a beautiful neighborhood that is close to all the 'action' of Duval Street, yet just far enough away for some quiet. The townhouse is nicely decorated and has 3 seating areas outside and the pool is a short stroll down the sidewalk. We rode our bikes and walked everywhere. Compass Realty was professional and efficient to deal with, thanks for a great family vacation. This is our third summer vacation in Key West and we would definately return to this rental.
