The home is in a wonderful place near the beach club where one can find the
best uncrowded snorkeling on the island and a good lunch a step away. It is
furnished in a way that is not the minimum required but with quality kitchen
appointments, toys for the kids, a good entertainment system and everything
one might want. There is high quality wireless internet connection throughout
the home and the area is very quiet and peaceful too. |

| the home was quite lovely despite the lack of access to the ocean. The amount of cleaning that had to be done to get your security deposit back was punitive. If you rent condo you shouldn't have to clean it to it's original shape depite paying for a cleaning crew. I would never go back to a place that has this type of policy. |

Manager Response: January 04, 2009 |
There appears to be a misunderstanding on the part of this guest. Upon all departures, all our units are cleaned by our professional cleaning staff.
The guest is not expected to clean the unit. The only thing we do request is that though a unit may have a full linen closet full of towels and linens, which a guest is more than welcome to use during their stay, we do require supplemental laundry be laundered during a guest's stay. The reason for this is that the unit in question has a smaller washer and dryer than those normally found on the mainland. If a large pile of towels, sheets, etc. were to be left for the unit's cleaner, it would take an extended period of time for the laundry to be completed in preparation for the next guest due to the size of the washer and dryer. Potentially an amount of time that would exceed the time the cleaner is paid to clean the unit. So we do tell guests, please use anything and everything you would like in the unit, but excessive laundry needs to be during your stay in the unit’s washer and dry. The cleaner is expecting to do a normal amount of laundry as part of their clean, sheets and towels of the day.
Apparently this guest misunderstood the write up on excessive laundry we provided to them prior to their arrival. For that we do apologize |

Dear Abbey,
We have just returned from our family week in Golf Villas B5, and wanted to send you a bit of feedback, some of which you may want to share with the owner. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay. Great job by the folks at Abbey in making the arrival and departure go smoothly. We found the unit to be comfortable and nicely appointed, but with a few flaws that can be easily rectified for following vacationers.
- We spent our first night sweltering, with no air conditioning. Reading the "House Rules" we found the recommendation that doors and windows be closed while the AC was on. That is common knowledge, but there was no mention that the AC was DISABLED if any slider was not tightly closed. A simple note on the thermostat would have been enough to save us considerable aggravation.
-The kitchen knives were almost too dull to be usable. There are some simple and safe sharpeners available.
- The propane bottle for the patio grill was nearly empty and ran out one the first night in the middle of cooking our baby back rib dinner. I strongly recommend you maintain a second full bottle in the closet.
- One of the mirrored closet doors in the front upper (twin) bedroom does not open.
- In the same bedroom a knob on the upper drawer in the night stand is stripped.
