My fiancee and I spent 5 great days at this wonderful resort in Waikoloa Beach. Hali i Kai is a beautiful project and the unit we stayed in was very nicely decorated and well maintained. The golf course view from the lanai at 9C was very pretty with beautiful sunset views. I enjoyed playing golf at the scenic Beach Course that runs alongside the resort. I'll try the Kings Course during our next visit. We will definitely be going back to Hali i Kai - can't wait for our next visit. More...

The condo was exactly as advertised, so there were no surprises. We had ample cooking equipment and linens. We were a little disappointed in the grill - it could have been nicer. Also, it would have been nice to have some premium tv channels. All in all it was a great home away from home. The pool area was never crowded and you could watch the whales off shore without leaving your comfy beach chair. The food at the pool restaurant was excellent as were the drinks at happy hour. We liked being right next to the Hilton Resort since there are several nice restaurants there and we enjoyed the hiking trail between the resort and "A" beach -- great views of the surfers and whales. Unit 9C was comfortable and made for a perfect vacation.

9C is a great unit! The unit was clean and everything that we requried was present. It looks like the unit could have used some painting. Minor scuffs on walls and the carpet had some large stains in it. Overall it is a beautiful unit with nice views. We stayed for 8 nights and would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a condo in Waikoloa. Hapunna beach is only 10 minutes north and only 30 minutes from Kona. Close to shopping with King's and Queen's shops. Beautiful pool and clean work out facitlity. Would stay again for sure! More...

We rented through Abbey Vacation Rentals. They were wonderful, I called to talk about a few different properties and they steered me to Hali'i Kai. They were extremely helpful and professional. The property is beautiful, brand new with a great pool and bar/grill. It's hard to find a condo with a pool with bar and grill as nice as a hotel but Hali'i Kai has it. The food and drinks were so good and we thought resonably priced...also it is an amazing place to watch the sunset. Unit 9C was great! Better than the pictures. We had a golf course and ocean view and the unit itself was really nice. This was our first time doing a condo on vacation and we loved it. We have a six month old and this is definitely the way to go. I highly recommend both Abbey Vacation Rentals and the Hali'i Kai condo complex. More...
