Great location that didn't meet expectations
Vista Waikoloa is a well-maintained condominium property conveniently located in short walking distance of hotel complexes, dining, and shopping. The rental price was an exceptional value for the location. My wife and I and another couple found unit E301 to be clean and comfortably furnished. We disliked the door lock mechanism, the small capacity washer & dryer, and the policy requiring you to launder your dirty towels before leaving. The assigned parking space for this unit was across the parking lot by G-building. The second bedroom was created by sliding wall panels into place next to the dining room, which didn't give much privacy and isolation from the living room. The major issue was too much noise from traffic (cars, trucks, buses) on Waikoloa Beach Drive (the main road) which was just beneath the unit's lanai. It was difficult to enjoy the nice view from the lanai of the ocean and the volcanoes. Some other units sit further back from the road (like those ending in 04, 05, or 06 in E-building); check the unit location on the property map before deciding on which one to book. The entire Waikoloa resort is new, upscale and still growing (construction). Recommend Sansei for a seafood dinner in Queen's Marketplace. More...

.
This is great location, easy walk to a nice beach, large units, nicely-kep property. The on-site agent was unfriendly, but just avoid her. I would recommend it to anyone with or without children.

Perfect place
This property was not newly built and innovated. However, the location is perfect. Only three minutes walking distance to the King's arcade, and one minute to golf course. Since Queen's market may be completed now, this area must be more attractive.

Lovely condo - great location
This condo is lovely - well appointed and very clean. The lanai is great for relaxing. We wanted to be close to the Hilton as we had friends staying there - this was perfect as we could walk. The only thing to note is that the second bedroom has 'slat' type doors. This was not a big deal for our family as we had the kids in this room but if you wanted more privacy might be of concern. It is also situated by the main road that goes through this development. Not a big deal as it is an upstairs unit - and the view was lovely - just something to note if this type of thing bugs you. Overall, a great place to come back to at the end of the day to hang out and relax. More...
