We (my 2 sons and myself) stayed for a week in Waikoloa area and really
enjoyed staying at this condo. When we are on vacation, we usually go out to
dinner but it was very convenient for us to cook or BBQ so we stayed in 4 or
the 7 nights. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary utensils and
the Weber gas BBQ grill help to make our chicken and ribs taste great. The
condo is in good and clean condition. We enjoyed having our morning coffee
out on the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the single beds is bit
small for my sons since they are both over 6 foot. I highly recommend this
condo.

The home is ideally located in a nice building and condo development. The individual unit could use some maintanence. The air conditioner was very finicky and would recommend putting a sign on it to not push below 70 degrees or the unit will shut off for 24 hours. WE reviewed the book instructions and found that caveat after the unit didn't work. Since there was more than 1 person adjusting the controls this happened twice so we had no air conditioning for 2 days when we had bad vog and humidity.

We also felt the furniture was pretty uncomfortable with pillows sliding off all the time and the carpet could use a shampoo. Teh second bathroom plumbing was also finicky and wasted a lot of water.

We were also surprised the condo did not participate in a recycling program. Unclear if this is common on the big island.

Lovely comfortable condo with a great lanai and view of the ocean. The kitchen area is small, but a good layout for one adult. The BBQ area and the business center have a great set up and are easy to use.

A few minor discomforts that could be corrected by a more thorough job by the cleaning staff; the kitchen cupboards and the sink/garbarator needed immediate attention as both emitted orders. The cotton mattress covers on both twin beds were stained. If adults are using the twin beds we suggest they remove the plastic mattress covers under the bedding - you will have a better/quiet sleep.

What a wonderful time we had at our spacious, clean and beautifully decorated condo! It was so nice to arrive and find the condo exactly as advertised. The on-site contact person was immediately available to us as well. We will definitely use Abbey Vacation Rental Organization again. More...

We had a wonderful 11 day stay at the Vista Waikoloa. The condo was well kept up, the Vista Waikoloa is a great complex (nice pool, 10 min walk to A-bay, beautiful views. The only negative was an ant problem -- We were never able to really get rid of the suckers. Abbey Vacation Rentals were very nice on the phone, but aside from dropping off a few ant traps, nothing really seemed to happen to on there end to get rid of the ants. So they stayed.
