| This was a great vacation. The unit was just as described. Very clean and everything in working order with a fully stocked kitchen. This condo was very comfortable and made you feel right at home and relaxed. The reservation process was very easy. The staff was very nice and made sure everything went smooth. In addition, great views from the unit and nice location. This would be my first choice if we get a chance to come back to the Big Island. |

A terrific place for a family vacation--apartment turned out to be bigger than
we thought it would be, and it was very conveniently located to all the best
beaches and we had close shopping at the Kings and Queens Shops when it
was too far (or we were too lazy or pressed for time) to go into Kona to
Safeway, Costco, or Walmart.
Nice people--both owners and renters. Quiet. Clean.
A few suggestions that would have made things even better:
a safe in the apartment to secure our valuables, passports, etc.
a second and/or better lock on the apartment door
a door on the master bathroom |

Great Waikaloa Villa |

This is a very spacious 3 bedroom condominium in Waikoloa. We went with 2 kids and a grandparent, and had plenty of space. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has its own ensuite, and there's a full bathroom downstairs next to the third bedroom. The condo is well appointed, even supplying beach towels and chairs. The pool and barbecue are just steps from the patio. We've stayed in the Fairway villas before, but this one was better due to its size and location.
Car rental is a must if you want to visit good beaches in the area. |

| The air conditioning didnt ,work which was sad...they took a deposit on my card and have never paid back..but they were nice...it was a very pretty place |

This apartment we stayed in was beautifully decorated and convenient. We booked this place through Abbey Rentals. The pictures and description of the apartment was very accurate.
Booking through Abbey Rental was very easy and convenient. Their step by step directions were very simple and easy to understand.
The mall right outside the complex was very convenient and getting there and back from town was easy.

It was very quiet, well kept and better than staying in a hotel by far. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, aqua socks, shovel and pail to build sand castles were a pleasant surprise in the linen closet. TV's in every room - even the loft. (The loft does get bright in the morning with the skylight.)
The pool was lovely, the grounds were well kept. Hard to find someone at the Guest Services building but we didn't ever need anything anyway. Very close to Queens Marketplace and Kings Shops - walking distance to Starbucks too.
We enjoyed snorkeling in "A" Bay. The Big Island has the most green sea turtles - they seem to be everywhere. Kahalu'u Beach (south of Kona) is the best snorkeling. The snorkel boat trips aren't worth the money. Hapuna Beach (North of Waikaloa) has very nice sand.
Hawi (pronounced Havi) and Hilo were nice day trips. We toured the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens in Hilo - bring bug spray and wear long pants. We enjoyed it but we are avid gardeners.
We tried to see lava but it was hidden - we only saw steam - not worth the drive. The Orchid Farm in Volcano, HI is free and great if you love orchids.
We purchased white pineapple at the Hilo Farmer's market - very sweet. We got 2 bad pineapple's from Costco.
There were 5 adults in our party and we all felt relaxed and it was nice to have our own private areas in the condo. We'd love to come back again. |

We absolutely loved the condo! It was clean, spacious and quiet. We were unable to rent a car the first part of our stay and we were really concerned about having access to restaurants and a grocery store. This condo was perfectly placed with great food choices and shopping within walking distance.
I would highly recommend this condo to all of my friends and family that are traveling to Hawaii. |

| The Fairway Villas are a great place to stay. My wife and I have stayed at other units within the complex on many occasion and J31 was up there with the best. Awesome location,very clean and comfortable and also very quiet. Will definately be back! |

| This was our first time renting a condo vs staying in a hotel. We were very happy with the property. Unit J31 was decorated just as I would hope a Hawaiian home would be. Gorgeous and well equiped. We loved it... very luxurious. |
