Unit #302 East is very nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We enjoyed our week even though this year from February 20th through 27th it was very cool. Loved walking the white sand beaches even in the rain a couple days. The shells on the beach were great. We wish Navarre had more dinner places to enjoy. The Country Club on Wednesday and Friday evenings does a nice job with their dinner service. Over all a great stay.

The condo was very nice, the only issue I had was that the sheets were not changed and the beds were not made and there were dirty towels left in the bath tub. There was also construction going on that we were not aware of and the cable kept going in and out.

My husband and I were greeted very warmly and efficiently at the office in Navarre. We absolutely loved the condo and the location. It was very clean and well stocked. The living room lamp did not have a light bulb, so that was a little inconvenient. We will surely recommend this location to our friends and family. The noise from the construction on the new pier was ditracting, but I'm sure it will be wonderful once completed.

Weve stayed at summerwind many times in many of the condos usually in the 3 bedroom, but it was only me and my husband so we got the 1 bedroom and it was great. The place was clean with great kitchen and view. Even if you stay in one building you have acess to all pools and hotubs and someone is always out at the beach to give you 2 chairs and an umbrella. You cant beat the beach its gorgeous. i didnt like the fact they were working on the new pier and it was loud every morning but you quickly forget about that when you see that view

Upon our arrival on Friday evening, we quickly noticed a trapped old smoking smell, no hangers, and the carpeting in terrible condition. The B/R and L/R areas are carpeted. The traffic patterns running in both rooms were terribly stained and especially in the living room, it was alomost black. This unit should NOT have been rented in this condition. We were paying to stay, and when you pay, you do expect some level of cleanliness. The next morning I called the 1-800 # and reported my concerns about the carpet and the fact that there were no hangers in the unit. I asked for sheets so we could put them down over the carpet and asked for hangers. I was told hangers are not required in the units(really??). I have stayed at the Summerwind many times and have always had hangers. This DOES need to be required. I was told then that the dirty carpet issue would be reported to her manager. I never recieved any sheets or calls saying that they couldn't bring any. Upon check out, I was told that the manager did get a call and I should have heard back for someone. I was also told that sheets couldn't be put down because they would be stained from the carpet. REALLY!!!! So it's ok that we had to keep our shoes on all weekend so they could keep their sheets clean? There is something wrong with that!! I was also told that the carpet was scheduled to be cleaned Friday before our arrival, but that the carpet cleaners had cancelled. This is where Dale E. Peterson should have arranged for us to stay in another unit. I feel that the 10% discount that I recieved for dirty carpet should have been an upgrade or change in unit at the time of my check in. I can only hope that in the future when I rent at the Summerwind, that I will find it in good, clean condition. This was by far the worst cleaning experiance to date, and yes, we have had others. I pay to have the unit cleaned, it should be that way. A scented candle should also be included in the unit.
