Beautifully remodeled and modernized this conch house offers a central location and subtle elegance. French doors open up the living area to a lovely deck with private Jacuzzi. For the sun worshiper there is easy access to a very secluded sunning deck. Bedding: one king, two queens and one full futon .. Sleeps up to 8.$2300 per week / $377 per night (Winter)$2000 per week / $332 per night (Shoulder)$1800 per week / $302 per night (Summer)$165 Cleaning Fee

| We stayed at Babalu Cottage from 10/26-11/2 for Fantasy Fest. The location was excellent. It is located on Truman Ave, one half block from Duval. The layout was good for a group of eight. There was plenty of room both inside and out for us to move around. There is a sun deck in the back for sun-bathing (somewhat private) benefit. The hot tub was big enough for all to enjoy. The outside shower allowed for more bathing options since there is only one full bath inside. The only problem is it is not exactly private. The house next door's second floor can see into the shower area. If your bashful, you'll have to bathe inside. The realty company wasquick in answering our questions and resolving problems. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future! |

| This historic house was very comfy, cozy and well situated. Nice outside terrace and small private deck. Bright. Plenty of room. We had a great time. |

| I stayed in this wonderful cottage May 21 - 25, 2009. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The house was beautiful, bright and clean. The location is perfect and you can walk everywhere. We had a rental car but only used to get to and from the airport. I hope to stay at Babalu Cottage again in the near future. You can't go wrong by renting this home. |

| This place was great! The bright colors inside are a real smack in face on your first morning after Duvall St, but they never let you forget you're on vacation! There were 8 "adults" on our trip and we fit comfortably, but make sure you like the people you're staying with. After seeing the other places that we had looked into renting, I knew we had picked the right house. The location is perfect...not too far from the action (b/c everything is truly in walking distance) and close to the beaches. The house had everything we needed and was next to a CVS for all the essentials. Also At Home in Key West was great! They let us store our bags in the office while we waited for the house to be cleaned and when we were waiting for our flight home. They are extremely friendly and I will be using them next year when we return. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Babalu Cottage, but don't take our week in March 2010!!! |

| What a wonderful cottage in a great location! Six of us stayed comfortably in the cottage and enjoyed time out on the deck. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. If we visit again we will try to stay here!! |

| We rented this cottage (really a historic shotgun house)while attending sailing school for a week. Not fancy or posh but perfect & comfortable for a small group with a small kitchen, a gas grill, laundry and plenty of private outdoor areas to hang out in. One potential drawback is it only has one full bathroom & a half bath, which worked fine for our group but anyone who spends lots of time in the bathroom or needs their own would not be happy. The cottage is in a great location, pretty centrally located & like many places in Key West, within walking distance of just about everything. Street is a bit busy & noisy during the day but we were not there much of the time. Neighbors were friendly & helpful. Our only real complaint was the hot tub on the property didn't work. The real estate agency renting the property was attentive and promptly tried to fix it but it still wasn't working properly when we left. |

This was our second time renting the Babalu Cottage- and it
didn't fail to impress us again. The location is wonderfully
convenient and the house is extremely comfortable. The staff of
At Home in Key West was courteous and resourceful through
the entire renting process- and worked extra had to quickly
resolve a minor problem we had with the washing machine. I
would not only recommend this particular house, but I would
recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Key West to let the
friendly staff of At Home in Key West assist you with your accommodations- they make a wonderful vacation in the Key
West all the more relaxing! |

| This is a good cottage, easy parking, convenient location but still quiet. Expect the typical key west conch style. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, but overall this is quite a comfortable place to stay. We felt safe and secure in this little hideaway! |

This is a Perfect Rental! Me my Girlfriend and 2 other couples went. Great location for the nights out on the town, since you don't have that far to walk home. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the place for the 6th person in the hot tub was the stairs! Has ample space for 6 people, and is perfect for the price.

We loved Babalu Cottage!! 2006 was actually the 2nd time we stayed there.
It is in a great location, the cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The folks we worked with At Home In Key West are great. They accommodate your every need. We hope to go back to the same location again some day!!

We were married in Key West, and there were 6 of us in the group. We rented the house for convenience and affordability, and found it far beyond our expectations. The decor was typical Keys, bright, funky and fun. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, and supplies. The location on Truman, was less than a block from Duval, and that meant it was convenient to BOTH ends of Duval. It was also very QUIET, which is in short supply in Key West!
We would definitely recommend this house for a family staying for several days. The huge master bedroom is downstairs, with a large walk-in closet. The other 2 bedrooms upstairs are large as well, and there is plenty of privacy space. At the time we rented, the house next door could be rented with it. The two properties had a privacy fence between the patios, but you could open it up and have one large patio for both houses. This would allow for an even larger group.
The only negative was that the washing machine was not really up to snuff - very very slow. But, this was shortly after 2 hurricanes hit the keys, and it may have been replaced by now.

| This was our 3rd time here. Love the location and the colors. The house is in need of a paint job, and also a new grill. We always go shopping down by the waterfront for some good seafood to grill and the grill was in bad shape. We will be back if the rent don't go up any more it's pretty steep now. I would recommend your services to anyone. |

| Babalu Cottage is the ultimate Key West vacation home! From the location to the decorations the place just screamed keys ambiance. My sisters and I stayed here for a week and had the time of our lives. The area was nice and quiet, but close enough to all the dining, shopping and site-seeing we wanted to do. The best part of the week was being greeted every morning not only by the roosters but the house cats that we fed. Made us feel like we were right at home since we are all cat lovers. I have directed a number of people to this house as a possible rental when they visit my favorite vacation destination. |

Our family has stayed at this location one or two weeks in March for the last four years.
The first and second time was definitely the best. The location is ideal; it has the right charm and was reasonably up kept the first two years.
We have been quite disappointed in the maintenance in our last two visits. The main bathroom had many broken tiles on thew floor and walls that were held together by duct tape. The hot tub and cover were stained and uninviting; the patio furnishings defiantly need replacing (or at least repainting and new cushions). The CD player did not work, old rusty bikes hung in the patio.. etc.
We will be vacationing in KW next March once again but we will not be renting Babalu Cottage next time.

| This home is as Cute as it's pictures! Especially enjoyed evenings on the front porch swing. It is in an excellent location to everything on Duval Street. Perfect for a family. Only steps from the electric car or bicyle rentals or enjoy the walk. We would definately plan to stay here again; just longer the next time. |
