Vacation Rental Description
18 Starboard Tack is a charming 3 bedroom/3 bath home in Palmetto Dunes! As you walk into the one level home you are greeted by a foyer that leads into the living room. To the right of the foyer down the hallway is your master bedroom with a king bed and a private bathroom with views of the backyard and TV. Facing the front of the home is a guest room with two twins, private bath and TV. To the left of the foyer is a hallway leading towards the second guest room that features a queen bed, access to a bathroom and TV. This room is facing the front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and custom cabintry and looks out to the dining room. Slider doors off the living room and dining room lead you to the deck that overlooks the lagoon and pool area. There is a gas grill for your enjoyment! You have a private dock that has access to the lagoon where you can ride kayaks and canoes and fish. This home is great for families!

As good as this home looks in pictures, you'll still be impressed when you pull into the driveway and even more impressed when you open the front door. A great residence for the week!
Everything you'll need for your stay is there. Plenty of pillows and blankets, plenty of hot water in the morning (as four of us showered) and plenty of towels. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, glassware and dishware and even had prep knives that cut (something missing from a few previous HHI rentals). A gas (rather than electric) range would have been nice, but that's where outdoor grills save the day.
I'd buy it if I could afford it but, since I can't, I'll certainly rent this house again. |

| This home was just as nice as the pictures on the rental website. The furniture was very comfortable. The floor plan was great for our family. Our son enjoyed fishing off the dock. The pool was nice too. We enjoyed the large dining area as well as the large deck with seating. We would want to stay there again. |

| The booking process was easy, the house was ready when promised, and we had no problem finding the rental agency office and picking up the key. The house was just as advertized - great location, clean, very pleasant place to stay. We definitely didn't want to leave when our vacation was over! I would rent here again in a heartbeat. The only remotely negative thing is that the cleaning people came at 8:45 am on the day we were to leave, even though we were told that checkout was 10:00 am. They were very nice about giving us the extra time we needed to clear out, however. Overall, it was one of the best vacations I've ever had. |

| My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The whole Hilton Head area is beautiful and so was this house. We loved waking up early, making coffee, and going to the homes private dock on the lagoon to fish while listening to the birds. We had the pool heated which was very relaxing after a day exploring HHI. The home is beautiful, very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. There was only the two of us, but the house still would have been roomy with other people there too. We absolutely loved the place and definitely would come back again! |

We had a terrific stay at 18 Starboard Tac and would recommend this property to anyone. (Actually I have already) It more than met our expectations with the home providing the privacy and spaciousness described by the rental agent. The home was more beautiful than the pictures.
There were 2 small irritants in that the phone did not allow us to make local calls and as a result we needed to use our cell phone and the internet worked intermittently requiring us to contact the ISP to have access.
We are looing forward to returning to Hilton Head again next year. |

| All property telephones will work for local calls, so perhaps the "intermittent" hi-speed Intenet is likely to be a problem with the local telephone company which handles both the phone and Internet services and is therefore out of our control. Brian Goode |

| The place was very clean and beautiful. With bedrooms on opposite ends of the house there was a lot of privacy and every bedroom had it's own bathroom. The pool was heated and we were able to swim morning noon and night. We brought our kayaks and went around the water ways. We also brought our bikes and used them every day. The access to the beach was good. The only thing that was not perfect, was the queen bed, it was sloped in the middle. |

| This was by far the nicest place we have stayed so far in HHI. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. Plenty of room for our stuff and the kids. We had privacy, even in the pool and would go back anytime. |

| We had a great time...would love to repeat the experience soon. Two years is too long! Floor design allows for privacy. Kitchen is well equipped. Street is quiet...perfect for children. We loved the pool and taught our younger ones to fish off the back dock on the lagoon! |

We had rented a house for the week,and upon
inspection of the property it was an absolute
disapointment.We got on the phone and called
number after number.I finally got in touch with someone at your office.We had our small
poodle with us which made things even more challenging.We were treated with the upmost
respect,you guys totally understood and worked to get us in a VERY NICE place with the dog!
I will never forget the experience.We had a great week,THANKS!
