This four-star home is in a quiet neighborhood just a couple blocks from town. Two bedrooms, two baths, 4 adults and up to 4 kids. Hot tub on the deck and propane BBQ.
The living room, dining area, and kitchen all face the dramatic view. Mission-style furnishings make this a classy and cozy retreat. Couch opens into a queen bed, easy chair opens to a small twin bed, and the window seats can sleep two.
Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops opens to the living and dining areas. You’ll find a lot of special features in this kitchen! Dining table seats 6 comfortably.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and French doors to deck with hot tub. There is a flat screen LCD TV mounted on the wall with DVD and VCR, and of course, there are the great views!
The guest bedroom has a princess-in-the-pea style bed. There’s even a stool to help you get up. This bed is as cozy as can be with a feather mattress and luscious pillows and comforter. Another reclining chair (that opens to a small twin) and a picture window provide a charming space to rest and awake in.
Enjoy the hot tub on the deck with the ocean below and the stars above.

Perfect! Just What We Needed. |

Coasting Home was a pleasure to deal with in learning about the property and making arrangements. We also spoke with the owner who was absolutely lovely and helpful, and let us know about a meteor shower we were able to view from the deck. Such a nice surprise!
We loved that the house had privacy but you could walk to the local, well-equipped grocery store and restaurants in just a few minutes. We found ourselves torn between wanting to explore the area and just stay at Serendipity and look at the gorgeous views. In the end, we stayed in most of the time and loved it.
The house was incredibly well-provisioned in terms of books, movies, robes, blankets, kitchen stuff...really anything you could want and more. It is obvious that a lot of care and consideration has gone into making this a nice place for guests.
We almost never discuss returning to a vacation spot, as there are so many destinations on earth to explore. But we have already talked about when we can return to Serendipity.
Like anyone reading this, we read through all of these glowing reviews about Serendipity when we were looking for a rental home and thought, "This place sounds nice. But should we do it?" The idea of renting a house you've never seen can be a bit daunting. I'm here to tell you that you should absolutely stay here and don't hesitate. We feel like we stumbled upon a real gem and you will too! |

| Sernendipity was outstanding! Our stay was perfect in every way! The home was beautiful and very well equipped! While the owners were not presumptuous, they were available by phone to answer questions about vacationing California and were very friendly and helpful! We found their home to be one of the most comfortable amoung the many that we have rented. The sound of the ocean crashing on the shore would lul you to sleep, the views from the decks in the day and night were wonderful, and the hot tub was very relaxing and easy to operate. The images depicting this rental are excellent representations of how it looks. Gualala is remote as are many places in this area. However, we found this to be charming. The people are friendly,the beaches in the area are beautiful and the drive in and out is gorgeous. We believe that this rental is the best value in this part of the country and recommend it without reservation! |

| Serendipity is a beautiful home in the small town of Gualala. You can walk to a few restaurants from the house but you have to travel by car to go to the beach. You have wonderful ocean views from all windows and sitting outside on the deck looking at the ocean and stars just can't be beat. Wonderful beds and a perfect kitchen with full amenities. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again next summer. |

| If you are looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate, then this is the place. Serendipity is a beautiful home and well equipped to meet every need. The home has large windows throughout and there isn't a room in the house that doesn't have a gorgeous view. We had the pleasure of watching a deer family come to graze each day. Gualala is within walking distance from the home and the 2 grocery stores have a surprising array of foods along with other quaint stores in the village to shop. |

| It is a wonderful home. Perfect for 2 couples. Kitchen really does have everything except a cooler for our many road trips. The bathrooms in this home are great, not shown on website but they are very nice. Plenty of towels, hot tub was very clean. I Highly recommend this location. The homeowners even called and wished us a great vacation and left their phone number. You don't get that everywhere you go. I have rented many many homes. Gualala is very nice it has 2 grocery stores. |

| Serendipity is a lovely home that is well appointed. The views are great from the deck and the architecture of the building is really something. Last time we were there the hot tub water was cloudy and we could barely see the bottom of the tub. My only other wish is that the house had a third bedroom. At over $700 for the weekend, it's nice to be able to share the cost with friends. Overall we love this home. It's a good value and we will likely rent it again. |

| This vacation rental home is amazing! We invited my 8th grade daughters friends to join us on Spring Break, and it was one we'll never forget. The girls were so excited when they saw the house after our long drive. From a fully-stocked kitchen, to fluffy towels and bathrobes for all, to beach toys and binoculars -- this home has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the house perfectly clean, the deck and view were great, and the hot tub was marvelous. We hope to return again; it was a fabulous vacation! |

| Fantastic property with beautiful views of the ocean. The property is walking distance to the town of Gualala yet far enough away to the privacy of thi hill-top view home. The cozy home is newly built with all the modern conviences; nice linens, cute functioning kitchen, and nice grill outside. It was nice sitting in the relaxing spa while gazing at the outstanding views. The views alone gives this property an A+++. Highly recommended. |

| We sort of knew the drill as we have stayed a week through Coasting Home in the Gualala area before. So we knew it would be very nice. Serendipity exceeded our high expectations. Open, fascinating architecture, wonderful furnishings, nice grounds and a great view. An expansive deck on which to relaxe and take in the sights in the day or a sky FULL of stars at night. My parents flew out from Arkansas to spend the week with us and they were blown away. We had an absolutely wonderful time! |

| Serendipity is a wonderful escape! The location on the bluffs above the Gualala River is fabulous and the panoramic vistas from the house and decks are stunning. The house is extremely well designed and offers a great room with cozy fireplace to hang out in, as well as two master suites for privacy and comfort. Relax in the hot tub out on the deck and enjoy the sunset view. The house is well stocked with all amenities needed for a truly comfortable getaway. Wallking distance to town. Highly recommended for a weekend (or longer if you can swing it). |

My husband and I have stayed at Serendipity twice within a year, and are scheduled to stay again in the coming month! This was the best find we've ever made. You need only bring your change of clothes and a camera - everything - I MEAN EVERYTHING - else is provided for your stay!
Once you've stayed at Serendipity, you'll never stay anywhere else again.
Beautiful view of the ocean, sunsets (fall and winter), and walking distance to the market and restaurants. And the best thing, you don't need to go anywhere once you're settled in.
The only drawbacks - no handicap access to the home, limited parking,and the WiFi didn't work for several of our guests (but why do you want to be on the internet there?)

| Here's the deal. There is nothing not to like about this home. We stay in lots of places, and this is just the best. The owners are really nice and extremely responsive to our needs and enjoyment. The agents are extremely nice and very, very efficient. The little amenities in the home are thoughtful. The view is to die for. I'm a pelican freak. I get my fill every single time I go there. I relax. My wife and I are professional restaurant people -- and the cooking facilities and equipment are outstanding. Stop procrastinating, sign up now. Just not our two weeks!! |

This home is absolutely incredible. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything is top of the line and all amenities are there. We rent homes annually and this home was by far the best we've stayed in. Two wonderful bedrooms, very comfortable with great bedding. Incredible views. The Mission-style futon opens to a full-size bed. Two Mission-style chairs fold out to twin size beds. And the window seat is much longer than it appears in the pictures. My son slept on the window seat. Felt like he was sleeping under the stars.
The kitchen is wonderful. Outdoor grill. Hot tub with basket full of towels and fluffy robes. Front load washer and dryer. Balcony overlooking the ocean was great for stargazing. No lights so the stars are incredible!
We walked to the grocery store, bakery and hotel pub. Great location. Highly recommend this home. |

This vacation rental far exceeded our expectations, it was a real
treat, and views to die for. We loved the location and the very
comfortable beds. Every convenience was thought of by the
caring owners which is a huge plus when staying at home and
cooking, we loved it, it was really relaxing and great having the
state parks parking permit, that was another huge bonus.
We have spoken to all our family and friends about Serendipity,
one day we will be back!!!! |

| Serendipity reflects its name in every respect. It is a place for the optimum in relaxation. Everything is available as is the option to do nothing at all, which is what we like best about it. We've rented this home twice, and will again. It is quiet, up to date, a view that takes your breath away in both the daytime and the nighttime. For a quiet get-away for two, or a weekend away for 2 couples...it is simply the best! |
