Thank you for the great review. The rain is the tough part- we need it, but we don't like it. So happy to hear you used our great train system into San Diego and around North County. I use public transit a lot when traveling, and have found that our experience is so much richer and less stressful on the train and bus. Aloha Spirit F105 North Coast Village
It was a lovely upgraded/renovated 1 bdrm unit with a nice balcony with a partial ocean view.
We wre concerned that there was no aircondioning at first as it was stifling hot when we walked in so it took a few hours to cool down once the windows and balcony door were opened. The ceiling fans were going on at all times.
It was rather difficult to bring our luggage and supllies to the unit from the underground parking as apparently this complex has no carts to assist the owner/tenant which made it rather difficult and tedious having to have done several trips from the car to the unit doors/elevators hallways etc.. but we survived. We loved the grounds and the beach!
We were disappointed that the 2nd tv in bedroom was not operational an the sliding patio door screen was in need of fixing as it didn't glide withease at all. The tv was a huge reason in our decision when we rented it as we needed2 separate tv's for different tastes in televison programming amongst us Other than that we liked the unit a lot and the area.

We are glad you enjoyed the arrival gift basket and using the plush beach towels in F105 as well as the great location of this upgraded condo. We are also happy it cooled down for you once the place was opened up. As we mentioned when you reserved, most places here at the beach, including this lovely vacation rental, do not have air conditioning as it's rarely needed...but you arrival was during a heat wave. We are reviewing procedures with our crew and will opening up units whenever possible prior to guests' arrival when appropriate to try to make things more comfortable.
Although there are usually carts for luggage in the garages, it appears they were absent upon your arrival. We are updating our arrival instructions with tips to make moving things from car to condo up the elevators a bit easier.
For future guests: the sliding door was inspected & repaired immediately upon request. Unfortunately, the 2nd LCD TV was not repairable, and has been replaced with a new 32" LCD flat panel TV for your enjoyment in the bedroom. There is also a larger flat panel in the family room.
We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again at the beach.
An awesome 4th of July Vacation 2009
This is our 3rd year renting a condo from North Coast Village. This condo (F-105,Aloha Spirit) was by far the best rental we've had. It was so beautiful,clean and we felt right @ home.The location was perfect. We had great service but only had one issue...the t.v. in the master bedroom was not working during our stay...it had power but had no picture or sound?? It was only inconvenient because we have 2 children who wanted to watch Nickleodeon...when wanted to watch the news! Besides that ...overall our vacation stay was awesome! We'd stay there agaon and hope to in the future :)

Thanks for the great review. We have purchased and installed a 32" new flat panel TV in the bedroom. That salt air wears them out so quickly! Hope to host you again next year.
F105
F105 is a very nice condo with a great location. It is clearly one of the better condos to rent in the complex. Everything was fantastic with one exception; the TV in the bedroom was not working. A note was left stating they were working on it but it was never repaired. Overall though, an excellent experience.
