Our experience with Southern Shores was great from start to finish. The home was great. This house has everything you need for your vacation.It is very well stocked . The view of the ocean from the 2 decks was spectacular. Being close to the beach was just what we were looking for and we found it. We had a problem with the refrigerator called Southern Shores and the problem was taken care of immediately. The pool was nice, the only thing is there were no lights to swim at night. The house is in a great location and packed with lots of extras. It was fully stocked with tons of beach chairs,deck chairs, beach toys, baby gear and every kitchen supply you could think of. The beach was beautiful with lots of room and nice sand. The only not so nice features: 3 full baths is a bit deceiving. 3rd bath is full, but is on ground floor and not connected to rest of house. If you like to cook, bring your own knives - they had tons of them, but all were extremely dull. Overall we really enjoyed the house. More...

We loved this location and had a great vacation. The only issue we had was the outside shower door would not close the hook was broken. We loved this property and want to go back in a heartbeat.

We were very disappointed because of having to go outside and down stairs to get to the laundry which looked horrible. This was not listed as an exterior laundry area. The Kitchen area was infested with ANTS and other type of small bugs which we had reported to the main office, but we are unaware if anything, if at all anything was done about it. I would not recomend this house unless I was assured that the kitchen area was cleaned up. It's a shame because it is a nice house. More...
