This one bedroom one bath River Mountain lodge unit is the perfect summer getaway as well as a beautifully located ski season lodge. With a full kitchen, private balcony, sleeper sofa, flat panel LCD TV, fireplace, and tons of onsite amenities, this is the place for you to vacation. You don't have to go far to experience the great amenities. In the lodge you will find a fabulous Mexican restraint, a bar and fireside lounge in the lobby, a gym, pool, hot tub and sauna for those that desire onsite relaxation. Great amenities, great property, great price. Cleaning fee of $70 will be waived for vacations of 3 or more nights.

| The condo was clean, pleasant, and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions, etc. The location was wonderful - I hope to return next year with two more grandchildren! |

Ideal Ski In Condo |

This rental unit was ideal. The accommodations were lovely.
Everything in the unit was working, clean and in nice condition. We
loved the location because we could walk to town and the free bus to
the slopes was across the street. The lodge was a ski- in which was
ideal after a long day of skiing. Also loved having a bar onsite along
with a restaurant. It was a really nice place to stay. |

Great location and superb unit. The fireplace and free wood were a big bonus.
Negatives: Breckenridge Resort Managers were 0-for-five on answering the telephone, and only after waiting hours was there a return call. Needed to pick up paperwork after hours - the sign on the office said Breckenridge Brokers; not easily identified as the correct location. No directions to the unit in the package, and no parking pass included with the paperwork - the car was nearly towed, luckily we drove to Beaver Creek that day and saw the tow notice!
The kitchen could have be much better appointed. The only fry pan had most of the non-stick coating worn off, and it burned the eggs so badly that we bought a new fry pan to leave for future renters. |

I am sorry if you felt the corresopndence was slow, we always try to make sure our guests have what they need. The guest package was left in our drop box at our main street door due to a late check in, which we always acommodate as best as we can. Directions are always in our guest package. Not sure about the parking pass or towing, apologies if there was any inconvinence. |

This unit is in a great location! Close to Main Street, the Gondola to Peaks 7 & 8, and the local supermarket and shops. I was worried about noise after I had booked the room and then read other reviews about River Mtn Lodge, but found this not to be an issue at all! The only thing I would suggest is updating the dishes/pots & pans in the kitchen and appropriate amount of supplies when you know your guests are staying for long periods (TP, dish soap, etc).

Cute Condo |

We stayed in this condo with our baby, six months old at the time, and it was just the right amount of space. We were able to set up her pack and play in the living room, while we had the bedroom to ourselves.
The condo was well-appointed with all that we needed to make a meal there (our baby had a pretty rigid schedule at the time) and comfortably spend the evening inside. We also were able to escape to the hot tub and pool that was right outside our balcony when our baby was napping (alternating, of course)!
The proximity to town was a sure bonus, too. Considering that we needed to return to the condo for naps, the location made running in and out of town easy and convenient. |

This property is fabulous with all of the conveniences you would want when visitng Breckenridge Colorado in the winter time. The unit we rented looked good on the website but the furniture made the visit very uncomfortable because the furniture is worn out and doesnt fit the living space (in the living room. The downstairs bedroom bed actually squeaked each time you moved which sentour guests to the floor and to the sofas to sleep each night. The living room sofas do not align for a view of the the TV and they need replaced.

I have been at this property many times and the couch has always been cozy for me. I have not had a complaint before about it. The couch is a couple of years old and the cushions are very thick. The arrangement of the furniture is chosen by the owner and appears to be the best configuration for that particular room.
As far as the bed, our unit does not have a downstairs. The property has only one floor and one bedroom with a queen bed. I personally went over and tested the bed, hopped/jumped/rolled, no squeak. Not sure if you are talking about the same property, but our bed is comfortable and quiet. Also, we only have one sofa in our property.
I think that this guest may be mistaken and is thinking of a different property. |
