| The people at "Cabins For You" made making the reservation for Shady Shack easy and the write up on their web site about this cabin only scratched the surface of how wonderful this slice of heaven was. The cabin was spotlessly clean and a basket of goodies was waiting on the kitchen counter for us to enjoy. The setting was wonderfully secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed playing pool each evening and relaxing on the porch swing and hot tub. The cabin, even though not in the middle of Gatlinburg, is close enough to the attractions and shopping to please anyone who wants a bit of both worlds. The cabin being pet friendly was another major draw for us since we have a small dog. He enjoyed himself also! Everything was wonderful there and I am looking forward to returning to Shady Shack in the near future. One thing that could be improved upon were the directions. Instead of only listing the road name off of US321 as Pittman Center Road it should list also SR416 to make it easier to find. The other turns should list how many miles or tenths also. |
