Fantastic Week at Sky High |

| Just wanted to let you know how much the Dunns and the Lunds enjoyed our wonderful family stay at Sky High. The house was so clean and welcoming. Great fires and relaxation and the view was magnificent! Upon arrival we had an experience that we will remember for a lifetime. We were unloading the SUV and taking loads up and down the stairs. We left the back of the SUV up as we unloaded. Taking a break on the deck between loads, I looked to the left and saw what I thought at first was a very fat dog. It turned out to be a black bear staring up the steps at me. My husband ran to get the camera after I had a temporary mental breakdown. The bear walked out of view so my husband went down the stairs to get his picture. As he got to the bottom of the stairs the bear had climbed into the back of my SUV and was headed for the boxes of food. My husband forgot all about his picture and let out a big “WOOF” and the bear backed out of the car and left quickly up the retaining wall and hill. Even though we didn’t get a picture of the bear on film, the picture in our minds will always be a reminder of our fantastic week at SKY HIGH. We will definitely be back! |

We stayed at Sky High on Christmas Eve and Christmas Night.. The Accommodation was fantastic and the Views from all aspects were breathtaking...
We did all of our reservation via email and through the website... Booking was easy and the service was prompt and straightforward...
It was a 10 minute simple, all be it very steep car journey to Downtown Gatlinburg..
The Log fire was great (logs provided) although we had nothing to light it with, we did manage to get some stuff from the garage in Gatlinburg..
The rest of the amenities left us wanting for nothing..
Would very much recommend this accommodation and location..
