My husband and I found Abbey Rentals on-line and after reading other reviews, decided to take a chance and rent a condo instead of booking into a hotel: best decision we made!
The suite was as advertised, clean, quiet, well-maintained and appointed. It was all that we were looking for.
Everything that we wanted was either within walking distance or a close drive: beaches, golf, shopping, etc.
Also, staying in Waikoloa had the advantage of every day being beautifully sunny.
What a treat: we'd definitely go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 8 days we spent in this unit. Great location, very nice condo, very clean and quiet.

Great location and the condo was also great. Only problem was the bugs. There were small ants all over in the bathroom. We called and someone brought a can of Raid. Didn't help with the problem.

My wife and I spent 10 glorious days in the Vista Waikoloa Village.
The condo was immaculate, immense and totally equipped for a
long stay! It is only 20 minutes north of Kona/Kailua airport.

We had a 10 minute walk to the village stores, the beach, other
hotels, dining, etc. We enjoyed the amenities the condo offered,
which included a 2nd [and private] bedroom/bathroom, a huge
living space with a lanai off the master bedroom and living room.
The views of the beach and bay were nice although somewhat
blocked by other buildings across the street. Nothing to complain
about though.

The kitchen was very well equipped to handle any type of food prep
and cooking. There were some basics [oil, spices, vinegar] when we
arrive; we added a few items and left them for the next guests.

The mini washer/dryer met our needs and since we knew these
were available in the condo we packed very lightly for the trip.

The other guests were mostly in their 50's+ and were very quiet,
which was perfect for us.

Hapuna Beach was a 10 minute drive north of the condo and it is a
wonderful beach. White, soft sand with warm water and nice waves!
Perfect for kids of all ages!

Overall we were totally impressed and we intend to return to this
condo! Oh yes, the price per night was right for us AND we got so
much more than getting a small hotel room for a much higher rate.
