Amenities in the unit include in-unit intercom activation of the building’s security door, free wireless internet access, DVD and Satellite television service, AC, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen with its hand-crafted peninsula for in-home dining or entertaining. This property is perfectly situated one block from Savannah’s famed City Market with its city tours, restaurants and shops, Telfair Museum and Jepson Center for the Arts, and Paula Deen’s restaurant and shop The Lady and Sons. Within easy walking distance are the River Street and Factors Walk with its many restaurants, clubs, shops and boat cruises; Civic Center Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre; the Lucas Theatre; the Girl Scout’s Juliette Gordon Low House; The First African Baptist Church where Martin Luther King first preached his “I Have a Dream” speech; the gloriously beautiful historic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist; Savannah’s historic Colonial Park Cemetery and you can experience “The Book” Midnight in Garden of Good and Evil as you walk her famous Squares.
