Best View of the Mountains!
We have stayed at Leatherwood eveytime we visited the NC mountains over the last 10 years. Our experiences have always been outstanding - whether we were riding our horses or just sitting on a porch watching the sunrise and sunset. Everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to stop and chat. The rental homes are all different which makes each stay special. Palomar was very warm and cozy with a 180 degree view of the most beautiful mountain range. It was really nice not having to bring sheets and paper products like we had to do many years ago. Each time we leave, we start preparing for our next trip back. Thank you Leatherwood for providing us with memories that will last a lifetime! More...

Calming, Beautiful and Relaxing!!
We had a great time both riding the trails on our mules and enjoying our stay at the cabin. The cabin was nice with some upgrades from the last time we stayed two years ago. The views are wonderful, I think the best at Leatherwood! The house is nicely equiped and furnished.
We can't wait to come back again!!
