Property Overview
Few Tuscan villas offer a more ideal combination of elegant simplicity, historic charm, tranquility, and accessibility than this family-friendly luxury villa with private pool in Tuscany: Only 5 km from the cosmopolitan university town of Siena, which is where the novel by Herman Wouk and TV series starring Robert Mitchum, Winds of War, took place as well as where the movie "My House in Umbria" starring Maggie Smith was filmed, and yet still nestled in the peaceful countryside, Villa del Cielo is an ideal choice if you want to "have it all" during your Tuscan villa rental experience. Anyone with an appreciation for architecture will enjoy the chapel's original vaulted ceilings and nave---which now meld seamlessly into the lines of the living space. Other highlights of this Tuscany luxury accommodation include a beautiful swimming pool and spacious grounds for exploration. It's also a good base for daytrips to Florence [there is regular train service from the train station in Siena], an...

Guest Reviews for Villa Del Cielo with Caminetto

Michele's review of Villa Del Cielo with Caminetto
This was our first time renting a villa and we couldn't have been more pleased. The Villa and surrounding grounds were lovely and very well maintained with plenty of room for several couples. The property managers were very attentive and the whole rental process with Rent Villas went very smoothly.
The outside areas were lovely and the view of the Tuscan countryside from the back of the property was beautiful. The location was very peaceful and quiet. We had perfect weather, so we could really enjoy the outside areas. The Chapel was unique and was a great place for a large group to relax. The Villa was well equipped and very well maintained.
Bugs and spiders. The rooster crowing at 4 am. Watch the steps in the Villa lots of little steps up and down inside and out.
Loved the location for peace and quiet, but also very conveniently located to Siena and major roads. Great walk to take on the road right outside the villa with fantastic views going away from Montalbuccio.

Elizabeth's review of Villa Del Cielo with Caminetto
The experience overall was great. There were 13 of us, and we enjoyed the villa, the location, beautiful views and wonderful accommodations.
The peacefulness and the many different areas to socialize by yourself or with others.
The gate was somewhat problematic, since we did not have enough clickers for the groups of people. This involved some sitting outside the gate till others arrived back to the villa.
The views were spectacular.

Helen's review of Villa Del Cielo with Caminetto
We were with our children and their spouses and two grandchildren and couldn't have picked a better villa. We had all the room needed to afford everyone their own space.
The spaciousness and the view.
Bedrooms in the Caminetto were oddly configured and the single room had a window that was unreachable. The two kitchens had different types of electrical outlets, one, two, and three prongs and some appliances did not work.
Villa was in a great central location and allowed for day trips to the surrounding countryside as well as Florence and Pisa.

Bronwyn's review of Villa Del Cielo with Caminetto
The Villa was a wonderful property - it had plenty of space for several couples to enjoy private time, and plenty of large spaces for us all to get together.
The large spaces - the outside loggias and the chapel where we could all get together. But also, the Villa was very well equipped with crockery, serving plates, platters. We spent lots of time cooking and eating, and it was great to be able to present the products of our labour beautifully.
The bathrooms are functional and clean but a little weary.
Apart from its beauty - it was very convenient to get to reasonable sized supermarkets to get all the necessities.
