Close to the beach.....for real |

| This property is really close to the beach which is great for families with kids. Mine could always walk to the cottage for the bathroom, food, a break from the sun. It is really close and on a dead end road. The cottage itself was very well furnished and comfortable. There was only one problem. Every once in a while there was a horrible smell of Ocean/sewer????? We tried to not pay attention to it but sometimes specially after a rain storm it was very noticeable. That's what happens when you are that close to the ocean, I guess. |

| The cottage on Fidlers Green has a bright kitchen with a nice dining area. The large living room is comfortable and roomy. The cottage backs up to a marsh for privacy, with a huge deck and outdoor shower in back. A side deck has a grill and table. The master bedroom has double doors which allow the ocean breezes to flow through the cottage. It's a quiet street and a short walk to a lovely, shared private beach. We love the location. Bedrooms are a bit small with a double bed in master, but other than that, the cottage is great. We look forward to returning for our 4th year. |

| We stayed here a week in August in both 2007 and 2008 and have stayed in another home on the same street (Fiddler's Green Lane). The home is lovely and a very short distance Less than 1/10th mile) from the beach although there is no view of the ocean. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. We are a family of 4 but my kids have each brought a friend for a couple days in the past. The outside shower is great and helps a lot when there are extra people. We love the private beach; the Narraganset Sound water is warmer than the ocean side of Dennis and we think the beach is nicer than the bay side of the Cape. |
