A Week in Destin
We thought our trip was going to start bad, since we did not get our keys mailed ahead of time, like the papaerwork described. This caused us to have to drive past our resort a few miles to retrieve them. That is where the miscue's stopped. The property was very clean and beautiful. We had 0 issues getting into our condo. (The Bell Hop Carriers in the garage, made it a snap to unload). Our view was breathtaking, and our condo was clean and ready for a week stay.
The resort was exactly like the pictures, maybe a little better. The huge pool was perfect for the kids when they wanted a change from the ocean. The walk up bar, made great drinks and food. It would have been nice to be able to reserve chairs on the beach through the resort, but we made that work as well.
Silver Shells is in a perfect spot, because the marina is a short drive and there is plenty to do within a 5 mile radius. Walmart is across the street, which is very convienent for those things your forgot.
Overall, great value and a place we would visit again.

A Must!
First class accommodations! This is a beautiful unit with spectacular unobstructed views overlooking both the pools and the beach. The resort itself was great; secluded, secure, exceptionally maintained? the list could go on and on.

Fun in the sun
Great location. We liked the accessibility to the pool and beach. Beachfront was alittle crowded with all the rental beach umbrellas and chairs. They need to be moved a few feet back away from the water and spread out in between so guests can get to the beach without having to dodge the umbrellas and other guests. Condo was nice, but could use some freshening up. More...
