1014 2nd Ave Tybee Island GA 31328 . Charming Tybee Cottage offering great value. Only 2.5 blocks to the 10th Street Beach. 2 full bathrooms AND and outdoor private shower with hot and cold water. Sun Room with day bed to relax and read, Screened porch, back yard with table and chairs to eat. This ground level home ( 2 steps off the ground makes it ideal for older folks who don't want to deal with steps or families with young children. As with all our our cottages, we offer complimentary High Speed and WiFi Internet. The day bed or the queen sofa sleeper in the living room allows this cottage to sleep 4-6 comfortably. The cottage is full of art from local and regional artists and is the second restoration this very talented home owner has completed on Tybee. Pink Flamingo Cottage has also received the 2006 Tybee Island Preservation award for outstanding work and stewardship of our island's historic cottages. |

| It was perfect for the occasion. It was very girly and the pictures did not do it justice.The Mermaid Cottage team is wonderful to work with and really go the extra mile to take care of you!We went back two weeks later and stayed in a bigger cottage.We will definately stick with Mermaid Cottages instead of the stale old hotel rooms from now on! |

| Everything was great. We stayed Thursday and Friday nights. The cottage has so much character. We spendt Thursday touring Savannah. We ate breakfast at the Breakfast Club on Friday and it was wonderful. Dinner at the Crab Shack is a must. We spent Friday walking along the beach. My only complaint would be with the parking system, one "meter" took my money but never gave a ticket so I had to pay twice. My husband and I spend our anniversay each year in a new place and the Pink Flamingo was perfect. |

| Lovely, charming, well furnished but funky floorplan..had to go throuh a bedroom or the bathroom to access the dayroom and back bedroom/bath/laundry. Great location made up for the functional obsolescence. AS always we were pleased with the service and staff of Mermaid Cottages and will continue to only rent through them when vacationing on Tybee! |

My husband, parents, and I had a great time on Tybee! The Pink Flamingo was perfect for us couples with it's 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved the peaceful beach-y look of the cottage. Being just 2 blocks from the beach was nice--it was very nice having the red wagon to pull our stuff to the beach!
Mermaid Cottages was so friendly and more than happy to help in anyway possible. We'll definitely use them again! |

It was such a great time. I would defiantly recommend it and plan to return
next year with my sister and her family. Our six and 15 year old daughters
loved it. Those are both tough ages and they were happy. My 78 year old
mother joined us,she hates the beach but had an exceptional time between the
shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend bringing lots of bug
deterrent, like every beach town they are bad.
Mermaid Cottages Vacation Rentals did a great job with directions from the
airport. The place was clean and had lots of extras. From books to bikes,
boogie boards and lots of towels. I called the hot line once and got a person
right away.

| My mom and I stayed at the Pink Flamingo for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time. The cottage was spotless. The Mermaid Cottage staff was more than wonderful ---- so helpful and pleasant. The cottage was decorated so perfectly and was plenty of room for the two of us. I would highly recommend Mermaid Cottages! |

We absolutely loved the Pink Flamingo. It was the perfect place for our family. The cottage was decorated so completely perfectly. I took picture of every inch so I could not forget any details. The grocery store and beach were within easy walking distance. The fact that there were bycycles was a plus. The kids (ages 16 and 17) rode them a lot. We did some tourist stuff in Savannah, but Tybee is more "our style". Being out of the hustle and bustle was a true vacation. I have recommended it to a lot of people and will be signing up for the facebook group and the online community.

| My sister, mom and I had a girls weekend getaway, and we LOVED the cottage! At first we were a little intimidated about having to cross a 4-lane road to get to the beach, but it ended up not being that bad. The location was perfect, the cottage was absolutely adorable, was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. We would all go back in a heartbeat! |

The cottage was in a great location, an easy walk to the ocean.
The cottage itself was bright and comfortable. We had everything we needed (even a wagon to pull our beach gear) making it easy to quickly unpack and relax.
This was our first trip to Tybee Island. We enjoyed the island and how laid back it was. The ocean was wonderful, including dolphins. Myle Cyrus was shooting a movie on the island while we were there so that added excitement.

I stayed here with my husband and we had a great time.
The cottage had a relaxed, colourful decor which put us in the holiday mood as soon as we walked through the door. We especially liked the little day bed which was perfect for reading and relaxing.
The location was very close to the beach and one of the main supermarkets which proved very convenient.
I was impressed with how well equipped the cottage was overall, you can literally get by with just bring yourself and your clothes.
Tybee itself was a nice little beach town to spend time in if you want to unwind, yet was also close to Savannah, which me made a day and evening trip to.

We were so happy to have found Pink Flamingo Cottage. It is
decorated in a fresh and charming style full of color and light. It was
well equipped for the cooking we enjoyed doing-having bought some
shrimp from a local vendor. The vegetation around the cottage and the
neighborhood was a delight to look at and listen to as the foliage
rustled in the winds. The location was very convenient, we were able
to walk to the beach. We only wish we could have stayed longer. |
