this was the 2nd time we have stay in this unit we love it .we had great time again this year,we requested this unit because we stay in it last year and we were very pleased with it .hope to stay next time we come in it also.but ,to be honest we do not like the way they have done the beach ,no sand line when you step off boardwalk there' the water, not good! I've been staying at the Islander for 20 years now. I went as a kid and now I bring my children. I love it! My only concern is the beach, or should I say, lack there of a beach! It's almost gone!! What are they going to do about it? I hope they don't let something as special as that beach disappear. This unit is very nicely decorated and we enjoyed our stay very much! More...

The only good thing about this room is that is was nicely decorated. Was not too clean when we arrived on 8-8-09. Found paper wrappers under bed and carpet looked like it had not been vacummed. Kitchen poorly stocked. No vaccum just a broom. Could use more towels since you could only get clean ones on Wednesday. With 5 people we had to do towels everyday. Room location was horrible. Very noisy. I did like being on 1st floor with a two year old. Lot of grass area for her to play. Would not stay in 110 again.

This was a wonderful condo for us. Our grandchildren are preschool to 24. We like to walk right out the patio door to the pool and the beach. There are many things for the older ones to do also. The help is very friendly and available. Great parking is also a plus.

This development is located on a quieter area of Destin with all the activity very close. We found many good restaurant not too far away. More...
