This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #103 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is tile throughout with carpet in the bedrooms. The pool and Destin's beach are conveniently located outside your 1st floor walk out balcony. You will be just steps away from Destin's Beach. All units are non-smoking.Condo 103 is freshly painted through out with new crown moulding. The living room features new seating and wall mirror. The dining room has a new floral arrangement. Both bedrooms have new bedspreads and plantation shutters.

Convenient Location
We usually stay on the Jetty side in the upper levels for the view (we have been staying at the Islander for the past 15 years). This year we chose a 1st floor ocean view room for the convenience of caring for our 20 month old daughter. The room was perfect. It was a quick walk to the pool and beach. The chairs and umbrella were a perfect asset to the room as well. We saved $150 not having to rent chairs on the beach. All in all we would definitely rent this condo again next year. More...

We always have a great time at the beach!!
We enjoyed our stay at unit 103. We have stayed at the Islander for about 8 years now, but this was the first time we had a ground floor unit. We liked the 2 bedrooms. Our unit was clean and well taken care of, in relation to its age. We liked the ground floor location and the two pools. We wished that we could have exchanged our linens more often, we only got to change them the day before we left. We had brought extras from home, thankfully. We also had to purchase toilet paper due to not being stocked to last the entire stay. The staff was very accommodating and we were able to rent the unit an extra day due to not being occupied. Unsatisfied
My family and I have stayed at the Islander for 10 years. Previously we rented units 115-118. I didn't have a problem with the rental itself, just the Islander as a whole. It used to be family friendly and in 2008 we had nothing but issues.The room next door was FULL of underaged partiers including smoking pot.We had issues with the management taking care of the problem and putting us off. We will not be back to Islander and have booked at a different property all together for July of 2009. The management has clearly changed over the past couple of years and it is very noticeable in the way we are treated. We used to be allowed to roll deposits over from year to year, now we can't. The Islander has recently undergone a change of personnel at the management level. While I can't speak for issues in the past, I can assure you that these types of things are not tolerated at The Islander. We strive to maintain a fun, family oriented atmosphere that will make your stay a memorable one.
