My family and I stayed in this unit for 1 week during spring break. The owners and staff were so nice and friendly. The unit location was ideal for us because the pool was literally steps from the patio. I could be in the kitchen and see my child in the pool. This is a great place for families who want to swim, relax, and spend time together. There was no rowdy behavior at all. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen area was a bit smaller than some other places we have stayed, but we managed fine. The master bedroom and bath was roomy and confortable. My husband and I slept really well all week. However, the guest room had two twin beds that really needed to be replaced. My mom and daughter shared this room and niether of them slept well. The only other negative aspect was the lack of beach area. During high tide, there was no beach at all. The water came right up to the boardwalk. But, during low tide, you could walk on and enjoy the sand. I know this condition is due to damage from past hurricanes and connot be helped. Overall, this condo is the best bargain in Destin. I don't know of any other resort that offers a 2-bedroom gulf front condo for such a reasonable price. They also offer extra free activities and special prices throughout the year. It is a very nice place for a family vacation.
