a reasonable weekend
The condo was clean. The sofa bed was terrible. There was no towel service the whole time I stayed.
I stayed four nights and I didn't like reusing the towels. The poor towel serviced bothered me so much I'm not sure that I will return.

Great Stay in Nicely Updated Condo
Our family goes to the Islander every year(we usually rent five rooms). The the staff is always friendly and helpful with any needs. The location is perfect for us to walk to the jetties to snorkel or fish. This unit is one of the nicer ones we have stayed in. It us very nicely updated and decorated. We loved being on the first floor because we have young children that played together in the grassy area off the patio with the cousins next door. Even though we were on the first floor we could still see the beach and water from our room. More...

what? no towels?
Couldn't have been more perfect, except...I had to do laundry while I was on vacation which is a "no, no !" I was told no clean towels were available. I paid $1200 to stay in a condo where I had to go to the laundry if I wanted clean linens ? I don't think so. Seriously considerting breaking our 20 year tradition of styaing with Islander, (although we so love it there) to stay somewhere that has more consideration for their vacationing guest. When Igo on vacation, I want all the conveniences and to be treated like Iam a "guest."
Please let me know if your policy changes and we will be back next year, otherwise not so sure. By the way, we actually rented 3 condos. They were in our children's names, but 102 and 103 were ours as well. The moms with the little children just used dirty towels, they did not want to drag their little ones to the laundry and back. They probably will not want to stay at Islander next year just because of this situation. Very inconvenient ! More...
