Sea Turtle Getways was great in helping us pick a house that met our needs. The beach was close by. The house fit 8 of us comfortably.
It was VERY hot in August but the pool was nice to jump in when we came home.

The home was beautiful with the exception of the downstairs bedroom. The room air conditioner was extremely loud and did not do a very good job of cooling the room. The bathroom was very small. I must say the overall maintance on this property was not very good. There were a few things that made our stay not as pleasant as it could have been. We really enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. We have stayed in a condo on our previous stays, this is the first time we rented a home and liked the extra space. This home was further away from the beach than we expected. We were told this house was on the forth row and it was not. We were traveling with an elderly woman (70) and an infant (4mth old) and our walk to the beach was difficult. In addition, when we tried to drive and park at Tower Beach Club, which would have made things 100% easier, we were told we did not have access.

This, combined with the fact that the downstairs area had a dead roach under the bed (along with dirty socks and dirt), and that the outside furniture was filthy, our stay was not as pleasant as we had hoped.

With the right expectations - informing ppl about the distance from the beach, the parking situation and that the outdoor furniture is never cleaned by the property managment company - this would be a decent rental. More...

This house had a great location, in the Sea Pines Resort, making it an
easy bike ride or drive to golf, tennis, harbourtown or Salty Dog Cafe.
The property was in good shape when we arrived, and had all of the
amenities one would desire. More...
