Extremely private, with a large landscaped, sunny, fenced yard on two acres, deck with hot tub, redwood grove. Home is very comfortable , with a fully equipped kitchen, exposed wood beam ceilings, fireplace, and plate glass windows looking over the forested mountain-side. King and queen in bedrooms; queen sleeper in living room. High-speed cable Internet access (wireless); unlimited domestic long distance telephone; flat-screen television. Washer/dryer. Dog okay. Keyless entry. Additional two small children permitted on sofa-bed without additional charge. Location: Cazadero, California 95421. One week minimum in July and August.SUMMER TURN DAY: SATURDAY

| House is in a beautiful location on a mountain top, very private with views of the valley. We loved the fireplace and jacuzzi since the weather was on the cold side. The only problem we had was the hot water heater pilot light kept on going out so we had to restart that a couple of times. Would recommend for a romantic getaway. |

Beautiful home in a good location...once we figured out how to get around, it
was quite easy to get to Guerneville, wineries, etc. The home was comfortable
and had great amenities. Gorgeous view of the surroundings from a beautiful
backyard, complete with daisies and hot tub! I would recommend this home! |

| The house, furnishings, grounds and hot tub are all perfection! The view is spectacular and it was wonderful to hear no neighboring or "town" sounds, day or night. Our only disappointment was that it is rather windy up there and was foggy most of the day. (But that's out of your control!) We had a great time and did get at least two hours of basking sunshine daily. |

| We loved the house and the location ... cozy and quiet - perfect for a romantic getaway ... We loved the outdoor hot tub with a view of the mountains and the lovely gardens and private yard ... Kitchen and laundry facilities were in great working order and convenient ... Beds were comfy ... The one and only problem was that the home was advertised with "high speed wireless internet" but the it was not wireless and the internet connection was slow and unreliable ... We were reimbursed for the inconvenience but we would have preferred that the wireless worked ... |

| We're happy this guest loved River Rest, a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We apologize for the lack of wireless Internet access. The house recently changed owners and the wireless Internet access was overlooked in the transition. It has now been restored, so future guests should not have a problem. |

| Great view's with exceptional landscaping in the rear yard. Relaxing and serene sitting in the hottub with the panaramic view of the valley and river. Looking at the stars at nite while soaking up the warmth from the hottub. Sitting in the dining room while eating and looking out the huge windows with the marvelous view. Cozy fireplace to cuddle up with at nite. All the comforts of home away from home. Look forward to visiting again soon. |

First of all, using Russian River Getaways is a great experience. This was our second rental from them, and we appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail. Both homes were exactly as we expected, and they were able to give us more details about them when we called.
It's always hard to pick a property from a description and a few photos, but this one did not disappoint. We wanted a very private and tranquil place with a fireplace, and where we could cook dinners. This home is cozy and well-appointed, with older appliances. The floor plan is convenient and the view of the valley and river CANNOT be represented by photos. We were truly enchanted with the view, and the orientation of the home made it feel like we were completely isolated, high in a forest with a view of the river and valley below, even though we were actually in a neighborhood. Add all the modern conveniences (central heat, phone, wireless Internet), and you can begin to imagine how comfortable the home is. This is not a luxurious home, but completely comfortable and well stocked with paper goods and bright modern towels.
We hope we can return to this home in the future. |
