Although it was a bit remote we LOVED our stay at Sweetwater Ranch. The
sunrise was worth getting up early for every morning and the wild turkey
gathering at the pond at sunset was something to look forward to.
The home was charming and comfortable and Harley was a major bonus, we
would definitely return. |

| This place was just awesome, very serene and lots of wildlife nearby or on the property. The ranch itself was more than comfortable and we felt very much at home. Harley the cat was very sweet - we could easily have kidnapped him and I'm not even a cat lover. |

I was so looking forward to having 40 acres to wander around on but was sorely disappointed that other than the immediate area around the house it was much too steep for my aged dogs. The main reason I wanted to rent this property was so my dogs could play in the three ponds. Again, this was very misleading, two were absolutely unusable and the real pond had so much scum it didn't seem safe for humans or dogs. So they didn't get to swim.
Upon arriving at the house we were greated with lots of dead plants around the house. It was apparent that the house had once had some tender loving care but had been neglected for quite some time. The other major problem is that there was NO water pressure making it almost impossible to shower.
One last comment--I was charged an extra $120 cleaning fee and I was still expected to empty the trash, do all the dishes, and wash the towels!!!
Only saving grace was the great deck with the beautiful view of the valley to Healdsburg. We were disappointed to say the least. |

| The long and winding road leads to a remote getaway. The house was very comfortable, the views spectacular. Very easy to find with the directions but a world away. The road leads down to Westside Road and some of the best wine tasting in Sonoma. Also a very short drive to Dry Creek Valley. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans and utensils, but that's about it. Wonderful place to stay and SO MUCH DIFFERENT than Florida. |

My husband, son and financee came here for a three night stay. The view was wonderful, the on-site property cat was charming, (we hated to leave him), and the house was great.
The home has potential but it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. The sink upstairs is clogged from past use and needs to be fixed before other renters arrive. Other than those issues, we loved our stay and hated to leave. |
