This renovated home includes extra living space with a sunroom on the street-side of the home and ceiling fans, 3 color cable TVs (one of which is a big screen TV), 2 VCRs, 2 DVDs, stereo, video library, high chair, and porta crib. There is a screened area on the ground level and a fish cleaning sink. New living room furniture installed for the '05 rental season.

| This house has a wonderful layout and is very spacious. We really enjoyed the big screen TV since we had free DVD rentals though Sunset Properties. The only drawback for me is that the front deck did not have cover and since that side of the house gets the morning sun, you were not able to sit outside past 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning as the sun was entirely too hot. Because of the sun, the curtains for the sun porch also have to be kept closed in the morning. There is a screen porch on the ground level, but it has lattice work on all sides which greatly reduces the breeze as well as the light so I did not use it at all. I really missed sitting out in the morning. I am reader and enjoy relaxing outside with my book prior to going to the beach. I really wish that the owners would consider a cover of some kind for the front deck. If I remember correctly, this was one of the few houses on the street which did not have any type of cover on the street side of the house. We have already rented this house for next year since we really liked the spaciousness of the inside and I am able to sit on the porch in the afternoon and evening but would still like some type of cover on the front side of the house so that I can relax outside in the morning. |

This was our family of four's first stay at the "Sunshine Shack" on Sunset Beach. In comparison to previous rentals at SSB I'd have to say that it was by far our most enjoyable.
At "Sunshine Shack" we each found a little piece of home. Our two teenage boys enjoyed their own bedroooms and could securly store bikes, fishing poles, and surfboards in the easily screened in room below the home overnight, or while they were taking a reprive from the beach by taking in an MLB Baseball game on the Big Screen TV.
My wife and visiting sisters continuously commented on the assortment of amenities in the kitchen. There was always a "perfect" size pot, plate, bowl, or tupperware or utensil for every need. The dining room comfortably sits eight adults. Each bedroom included it's own walk-in closet. In the Master bedroom closet we found the iron and board, as well as a treasure trove of games, books and movies for all age groups to enjoy.
Although this home is worth the rental, if it were my home I would invest in better handles and locks on the front door as well as some reinforcement of the screen door on the lower level.
Out of 10, I'd rate "Sunshine Shack" a 9.

| We just spent a wonderful week at Sunshine Shack. It is a spacious house, beautifully decorated and convenient to the beach. We had a 2 year old with us and it provided excellent play space both in the house and in the screened-in room below the house. We would highly recommend this house to others!! |

| With two large recliners and two very comfortable sofas in front of the large screen TV, this home has an excellent area to watch movies or TV at night or when it is stormy. The kitchen is adequately equipped and the beds are good. Good ceiling fans and light and airy interior. We enjoyed our stay very much. |

| We have stayed in different rental houses at Sunset Beach for over seven years. This one was absolutely the best one yet. Comfortable, spacious, well stocked, and my husband couldn't get enough of the big screen tv. (I know, I know). The beach is just a short walk away - from anywhere on the island, really. We have four kids, so our kids had to share beds, but that didn't seem to be a problem. Great house! |
